You might be ten but this issue far predated the arrival of Saban.
IT ABSOLUTELY DID NOT. It's actually laughable that this was even posted. Saban coming to Bama and breaking your hearts and kicking arse in the SEC is the EXACT reason you're pissed. But 4 of 6, 3 of 4, 21-0 and AJ to TJ has forced you to displace your anger and fear on some BS schedule inequality crap.

How bout this, play NO ONE in the East and schedule sisters of the poor. You still have to beat Bama and the rest of the West to get in and it has been a challenge the last 5 years for LSU to accomplish that.

Disprove anything I just said. You won't because you can't. I have been watching football since I was a kid in the early 80s and on this message board since prior to the 08 season. The schedule thing has just started to come up. Again, displacement at it's finest.

i mean i don't really know what else to tell you other than you're wrong.

This issue has come to a head recently because of the bridge schedule nonsense and shifting from 6-2-1. At least before there was a regular rotation and yeah the permanent opponent was bullshite but it wasn't AS big a deal because you knew the other 2 games were going to rotate equally. Now we have this hodgepodge schedule every year that nobody really knows how it's being developed and people are finally starting to ask questions. But the permanent opponent issue has been out there and talked about on here for a long, long, long time.

The bottom line is that you simply don't know what you're talking about.

Show 1 post, just 1 prior to 2011 where you were bitching about schedule inequality. If you do I'll say my bad and move on.

Nope, that's hypothetical BS.

Really?

No PI call in endzone in Tiger Stadium ring a bell?

You people went ballistic. SEC office actually apologized due to the outrage from the bamatards.

EXHIBIT A:

quote:

The Southeastern Conference's supervisor of officials said an LSU player should have been called for pass interference on a pivotal interception against Alabama. Side judge Blake Parks didn't call a penalty when Corey Webster picked off a pass in the end zone after pushing down receiver Keith Brown early in the third quarter. "Let's just report it as I'd rather it have been called," said Bobby Gaston, who oversees SEC officials. With the Tide leading 10-6, Webster returned the interception to the LSU 44. Alabama wound up losing 26-10. Gaston said that Parks' vision was obscured by Brown and he couldn't change position because he was responsible for goal line coverage. "If you look at it, he's straight-lined and has a hard time seeing the push and he can't call something that he doesn't see," Gaston said. "With the mechanics (positioning) that we use, we should have gotten that play. "It just so happens that the receiver and the defender were straightlined down the goal line from where he was. That's no excuse for us not being able to see it." Referee Penn Wagers led the officiating crew in the Alabama-LSU game and also the crew that erred in handling the clock late in the Tennessee-Florida game, a mistake that allowed the Volunteers more time to drive for a game-winning field goal. But Parks was not part of that crew. Gaston said he had not received a tape of the play from Alabama, but planned to call Crimson Tide coach Mike Shula and apologize for the mistake.

It's not hypothetical. It happened on this same board in 2009 over bye weekgate. Amazing that some of you pretend this never happened.

The difference is these permanent cross division games (PCDG's) have been in place since 1992 but yall just started complaining about it when BAMA and Saban started winning big, and that bye week shite had been getting worse and worse till it finally got to where pretty much everybody had a bye week before the BAMA game.

Now we have this hodgepodge
No we don't. Everyone knew there would be a bridge, and the SEC wanted the two new teams to play the premier teams in the league as their first two opponents to kinda "put em on the map" if you will. A&M was in the West so they were already playing Bama so they got UF from the East. Mizzou was in the East, and well who's the premier program in the West??? Exxxaaaacctttllly. STOP YOUR BITCHING. Put your big boy pants on and win more games. Period.

I have pretty much gave up college football for the most part. Cfl is ruined. It's run by the greediest frickers in the country it seems and dirtier then any sport I can ever remember.

Nothing can just be. No one can leave well enough alone. Powers that be are ruining college football and frankly I don't give a shite about it anymore. There is and never will be a fair shake. I will just have to be content with screwing my wife and making piles of money. Geaux tigers

I did a quick google search just to see if i could find one and here'e a thread discussing the issue from September of 2011.

I would ask for an apology but knowing how intellectually dishonest you people are i'm not expecting one.

Have the new schedules been released, or just confirmation of more bridge schedules?

Exactly. I was on here in 2011 and don't remember any LSU fans complaining about playing UF annually back when we went 7-6.

Yeah, the most blatant PI ever right in front of a ref that completely changed the momentum of the game. Denying that is stupid.

Mostly because they see that you've gone 8-1 against teams in the East not named UF over the last 5 years. They also see you've lost to Bama 4 times, Arky 2 times, and Ole Miss 2 times and think "Dang, how bout beat the teams more in your own division before you start bitching about the East" but since they can't say that they say "No comment."

Last 3 years LSU is 13-3 against the SEC West. Alabama is 12-4.
