I agree, although it may take CFM a little longer than OPP simply by not being in the ACC.

We aren't that good of a team... its going to take some time before the Frank Martin era takes off. Losing our best player to transfer really hurt us, but luckily we just signed one of the top 30 players in the nation in Sindarius Thornwell, so things are looking up over the next few years.

Agree, we need a couple more years of solid recruiting. i like the guys in the upcoming class, but they are going to need help the next year too.

Hopefully Thornwell can swing that SF who plays with him at Oak Hill to come to Carolina. He is a Georgetown commit now. Can't remember his name.

Before Frank Martin can coach this team to wins, he has to uncoach Darrin Horn. They still wanted to chuck that 3 up at times last night.

Yep I'm not really making expectations on our team winning any games this season...I just want to see improvement in them playing as a team with an intelligent approach on the floor on both sides. Something we showed very little to nothing of under Horn.
Beyond that we'll just have to be patient until CFM gets some talent into the program. But I'm already impressed with Carrera's production in the few games he's played thus far, and Kacinas also shows promise.
But the team is just hamstrung with Slawson, Richardson, and Leonard right now: those players have under-achieved their careers thus far, and do not look to "get it" even under Martin. We'll have to just grin and bear it until they matriculate out of the program.....for right now though, we need them to be on the floor and playing minutes, so that holds us back....
