Four games that will tell us a lot about who might end up in the CFB. Winners will have an early edge.

Vandy at South Carolina. Yes, don't sleep on Pavia. These two teams both played Va. Tech. I was more impressed with Vandy's victory on the road. Gamecocks had a long rain delay Saturday.

Florida at LSU. Tigers had the week off against La Tech (literally), while Sunbelt Billy is once again sitting on a hot plate. Considering that UF's next two games after LSU are Miami and Texas, I'd say the Gators are out of it if they lose to LSU. Flipped script or Death Valley dominance?

Arkansas at Ole Miss. Hogs are claiming they are the better offensive team after gobbling up two cupcakes and keep reminding everybody that Dart is gone. Simmons needs to clean up slow starts and hold serve after Rebs embarrassed the Razorbacks last year. Winner stays perfect in the SEC.

Georgia at Tennessee. Vols have also dined on cupcakes with a new QB. Georgia looked sluggish against Austin Peay after a rain delay. But likely looking forward to going to Knoxville. Winner gets a leg up on race to the CFB.

All four games show how tough and deep the SEC is. I'm having trouble finding a weak team in the league this year after State took down Arizona State.

I don’t think you know what “literally” means.

I mean that LSU was not that concerned about La Tech. Didn't need to be. Florida game is what counts in the SEC race. Save the playbook for the Gators and other league teams.

We have at least played a P4 team and one that was actually pretty good last year. Marshall is so bad that they just lost to a team who lost to USCw 70 something to almost nothing. And AP is about like our last opponent. Awful.

Vandy
Florida
Arkansas
Tennessee

Riverboat Gambler: So, you think the only home team that will win is Tenn. If it does, it will be nearly impossible to predict who'll go to Atlanta, much less the CFP.
