Panel thoughts:

quote:

LSU - Got our first shutout in a long long time against MSU. We played mistake free football for the first time in a long time. I know they were down a QB, but it felt good to bounce back. Auburn on the road will be tough but they are coming off of an emotional win.

quote:

Bama- got an old school physical, arse whipping. Need to bounce back vs Aggie and rest up on the bye to finish strong if they want to hold onto a playoff shot.

quote:

We (UGA) We got beat on the line of scrimmage both ways, Auburn wanted it more and this time, that was enough

quote:

Bama had a wretched performance against Tennessee after a war with UGA the week prior. We look to bounce back vs a struggling Texas A&M team in Tuscaloosa. A loss would cause the wheels to fall off the season.

Public thoughts

quote:

LSU kicked State's arse, and they'll do the same to Auburn this Saturday!

quote:

LSU shut out an undermanned Miss state team

quote:

Took care of business against a team dealing with injuries to their star players. Need to take what Auburn defense gives us this week and limit Byron Brown’s run game

quote:

Alabama had a lackluster performance against Tennessee. Injuries and youth were contributing factors in the loss. Alabama hopes to rebound with a home game vs Texas A&M

quote:

(UT) Beat that Gump arse

quote:

A head scratching miss by Kirby and crew.

quote:

Arkansas won, we actually won a conference game. The Flagship is back baby!!!!

quote:

Best performance all year shutting down Missouris run game. Trinidad was Trinidad and good to see Lacy back.

quote:

Auburn spotted the dawgs 14, whooped that arse for two quarters, gave them a little bit of hope in the 4th, then crushed their hearts with a game winning FG. War Eagle

I know it’s a power ranking, but Arkansas just beat Vandy in Nashville, they are ranked lower in BOTH polls

Make it make sense…

Given all the parity in the SEC this year it’s pretty surprising both the panel and public have the top 10 in the same order

Would have been pretty cool if you guys would have let the Hogs move out of the basement for one week, over the team we beat, before Vandy beats Kentucky this weekend. One week would have been pretty cool

Bama put it on UK. I’m not sure how you have them ranked higher

The new norm. Everything is all over the place. Putting Ole Miss number 2? We haven’t proven we can beat a talented team on the road. Texas will be ready despite the last two weeks. We will learn more. Maybe the Florida game was a real outlier. Maybe not..
