No, that is the result of the performance.
Things like the points you score, the yards you give up, the yards you get and everything else matters, but not the result. Not for power rankings.
But again, it's a main factor in season rankings.

Your wrong
The outcome of a game is part of the subjective part of a power ranking
You’re just choosing to leave that part of the equation out because you got your butt kicked a couple days ago
Had it been the other way around you would be arguing that you should be above Oklahoma because you just kicked their butt

So what is the reason all the computer power rankings do the same thing?
Furthermore, I was ranking Georgia #1 even when everyone else was ranking Alabama #1. I've had Georgia #1 and Alabama #2 for many weeks now. So have the computers. Because in power rankings it doesn't matter that Alabama won the game.
I mean if you want to do a SEC season rankings, I'll happily rank Alabama #5 and Texas A&M #1.
It sounds to me like you are just projecting and assuming everyone else operates with the same bias.

Power rankings aren’t just statistics though
You’re trying to just purposely choose to leave off the part of the power ranking that does include recent losses and wins, and only includes statistics
Sorry buddy, a recent loss affects your power ranking
It's obvious the difference between power rankings and season rankings is not something you'll be able to grasp. And I think I've done a pretty decent job of explaining them for anyone who wants to understand the difference.
So lick my balls.

You are the one wanting to do a ranking with bias instead of using all data available

You’re just pissed because you got your arse kicked by Oklahoma
Why don’t you just admit that?
Why don’t you just admit that?

Because I have nothing to be pissed about.
I've been watching Alabama football for 50 years. I've seen 9 national championships. I've watched seasons basically end because of bad injuries, I've watched us start a season ranked #3 and only finish with 3 wins and everything in between. 20 years ago I just wanted a coach who didn't embarrass Alabama off the field or get us in NCAA trouble.
These aren't bad times, I have nothing to melt or be pissed about. You know what really sucks? Getting dominated because you don't have a good team.
You get a team that might be decent and you lose your fricking mind.
The only thing that pisses me off about this past weekend is that not only did it not knock Alabama out of the National Championship picture completely, we still control our own destiny. It's horseshite what they've done to the college football regular season.

You keep beating some narrative about A&M “avoiding” playing people.
A&M hasn’t avoided shite. Your buddy Sankey made a schedule and we played it. File your complaints with the SEC office.
Your argument hold more water if you hadn’t already lost 2 games…one to a shitty FSU team.
We are playing for a top 4 spot. If you make the CFP it’ll be a “we’re just happy to be here” scenario.
We are not the same.

It's a fact you have not played the top 6 teams of the SEC at all(top7 really since you can't play yourself).
As for the reason, it's because the conference is too damn big. It's basically the old Big12 and SEC combined now. In the past, you would all play each other, and the SEC would all play each other, and then we'd either both meet up in the BCS, or in the playoffs etc.
And again, that FSU team would be the 3rd most difficult team on your schedule.
Top SEC teams A&M has not played by F+ rating.
5. Georgia
8. Alabama
11. Ole Miss
12. Oklahoma
14. Vanderbilt
15. Tennessee
You have played 18. Missouri. The current 8th best team. Texas has dropped it seems.
Alabama has played every single team in the above list except for Ole Miss. We also played Missouri, your 2nd best opponent, but only the 5th best for Alabama.
You have upcoming:
20 Texas, 9th best in the SEC.
Your next best win other than Mizzou and #6 ND is #25 Auburn. Alabama plays #25 Auburn in 2 weeks. FSU is #24. They will be like our 7th most difficult opponent.
LSU is #26, we've both played them. 4th best on your schedule, 8th best on ours.
So hey, maybe you are great and all. Weak SoS doesn't mean you can't be a strong team. It does mean you haven't really done anything to prove it, so I'm still waiting to see.

SOS and opponents W/L record and conference is but ONE metric in determining how good a team is. If it helps you to fixate on that and give it more weight than that own team’s W/L record, then so be it…but it changes nothing. A&M has won every game they were scheduled to play.
We can’t win other teams’ games for them and we shouldn’t be punished because Texas, Missouri, and LSU melted down midseason.
This conference is probably more competitive than ever and most of what I see is the SEC eating itself alive. 9 games is going to be brutal for this conference.
Top to bottom SEC is probably the strongest conference. It sure as hell can’t be the Big 10. Taking issue with A&M’s schedule while mentioning nothing about Indiana and OSU’s weak schedule is certainly a choice.

Again, Power ranking vs season rankings.
And everything I've said is even more true for Ohio St. But this isn't a Big10 forum.

Committee showing bias towards Tennessee and Mississippi State

Looking at the graphic eggy has managed to avoid playing 1-8 while playing 9-16 and nearly tripping over their dick against two of those bottom feeders.
I guess they get lots of practice to play a bunged up SEC team in championship game.
