Any more questions?

Obviously. This is baseball we're talking about.

You keep wanting to look at scheduling in HINDSIGHT -- which is a completely ILLOGICAL process, since it can only be set up based on how good teams are EXPECTED to be. I've shown that conclusively already. Hence why we SCHEDULED tougher than you. Whether or not we end up with a greater noncon SOS is immaterial to SCHEDULING, which your OP was based upon.
But you are obviously too stupid to know the difference between the two
Are we betting on real results or intended results?

Does the NCAA determine SOS before the season starts and use that as a baseline later in the year?

You should have argued nonconference SOS then. Not SCHEDULING. Your fault for being a moron and not knowing the difference.

You tell me. You are the one that doesn't know the difference.

So, he's building on what Serrano helped establish?
Serrano last year there had the most wins in school history. Still waiting on Gillispie to get the Anteaters to the CWS or surpass school record for total wins in a season.
When I think of a raise or much higher salary increase, I think of 4.5%.

Scheduling directly affects the SOS. PUTZ.

Scheduling affects what you EXPECT your SOS to be. You can't control how good the other team actually is.
Besides, if we had played Tennessee's schedule, we sweep UNLV - who instead of being 5-3 is now 2-6. We take 2 of 3 from Arizona St at home, probably sweep looking at their actual production in the series against you - who is now 3-3 or 2-4. We obviously beat ETSU as well. And thus, your(our) SOS still looks like shite. See how it works early in the season when you dominate people?
Overall SOS, we will still be greater than you -- which is all that ultimately matters to a selection committee that will be deciding between whether we are regional hosts or a national seed.

I don't understand why you won't take the bet for best SOS???
The whole argument is that our weak OOC is going to hurt us when we are on the bubble. That is good stuff right there.

I'm sorry we don't get to play your weak arse in baseball this year. Count your blessings and continue to live in the 90's where UT was somewhat relevant. The last 10 years you've averaged 5th in the SEC EAST. Hell Mizzou might even make you their doormat pretty soon here.

MSU's schedule > Tennessee's schedule.

See OP and following discussion. We are talking about the non-conference :)
My Bet is still if you want to take it.

Miss State appears to be playing 19 straight home games to open the season against Portland, Grambling, Purdue, Samford, Rhode Island, St. Joes, MVSU, Central Arkansas and 1 game vs. USM. That's absurd.

and all of the MSU posters like to keep throwing their undefeated* record in our faces. for shame.

with 2 CWS appearances? It's More than MSU has since he became a head coach.

You intended to schedule better based on previous year data. Reality is a different story and so is using a thing called logic. Show me 6 non-conference games MSU is playing that are better than ASU (3), ND (1), VT (2).
When you get done with that we are also playing MTSU twice that has a current RPI of 41.

Yet, you play one road game in the entire pre-conference schedule @ Clemson and one neutral site game against them. We play neutral site games against Southern Miss and Ole Miss, who are at least Clemson's equal this season.
