Regardless of records, I've always thought this is one of the better games of the season. It's had some great finishes.
It could be a lot bigger deal but LSU has forced this manufactured rivalry thing with Alabama since Saban got here and they act like arkie is beneath them and Bama is their game.
Bama has auburn. That ain't gonna change. Ever. That's our biggest game period end of story. If they would embrace the arkie game like we do auburn, fsu and florida state do, etc, this game would catch national appeal.
Geographically arkie and LSU are a lot closer. Historically, looking at wins, national titles, conference titles (counting the old swc), They are a lot closer than Alabama and LSU. LSU needs a game that's as important to the team they are playing as it is to them like the rest of us have. Bamas not gonna be that. Arkie does fit the bill though.
