They claimed that Aranda sought out A&M and wanted the job

That money wasn’t the issue here, that he just wanted out of LSU

They said A&M offered $3 million and land around CS

They made this:

They said LSU is poor

Aranda then stays at LSU

They said LSU got cucked

They said they never wanted Aranda

They said that paying $10 million guaranteed was too much, even though they also claim to be rich

They flamed all day and had it blow up in their face

Their trusted insider is a guido that does coke and cuddles with Manziel

Aranda isn't worth what your program is paying. A monkey could field a Top 15 defense with LSU talent

Didn't you hear? When LSU overpays nobody is allowed to mention it

Don't get me wrong, my issue is with the amount of money you are paying someone who hasn't elevated your defense over what you've had in the last decade.

You could have let him go and gotten a similar talent for much, much less.

Aranda isn't the answer to your problems.

A bama fan made that pic but that's quibiling. LINK

But when you lay out the whole story like that it is all quite funny.

The designated LSU melt thread on their board on here is hilarious to read through now. They were positive he was leaving.

Just another swing and a miss in Aggyland against LSU.

You're focusing on the wrong thing my man.

A&M just made you pay an outrageous amount of money to keep a guy that literally has zero impact on your program.

You're defense was elite before him and will be elite after him.

He's not a good recruiter either.

It would be a major problem if LSU were replacing both their OC and DC in Orgeron's first year on the job. That could have been devastating to the program. LSU paid what it needed to pay to ensure that didn't happen. They sold everyone on Orgeron being a CEO. They have to follow that through if they have any hope of making it work. Alleva's job depends on it. And with Orgeron only making 3.5, it wasn't a big deal to throw that extra money at their best assistant.

Well that’s just not true.

You’re saying all this but if he would’ve went to them you’d be trolling the shite out of LSU right now.

And I mean we’re talking about a little less than $1 million dollar a year raise. You act like he just got a $10 million dollar raise.

A coach who makes $7.5 million per year on a guaranteed $75 million contract should be able to manage more than offense. That's, dare I say, offensive. Pun intended.

That may be true, but Saban got rid of both of his coordinators after his first year at Alabama.

Did I troll at any point today when it looked like he was going to A&M?

No.

I really don't give a shite.

I think it's a sad state when you actually have contingency shitposts when something different than you thought happens.
