I don't want to sound like a homer but I agree. Nobody gave us even a small chance to win that game. I mean, this was Uconn we're talking about. They went all in for that game and played their best game of the season leaving it all on the floor. They were totally exausted after that game but the only way they were going to have a chance was to suck it up and play every single minute as if it were the final minute.

If you watched the Final, Morgan just did not have it against USCe. I think her tank was empty and she got outplayed by the SC PG.
Really our whole team was a step slow and credit to SC for playing well. They were just a bit better than us. No doubt the UCONN took a lot out of us but that is not the reason we lost the final. USCe beat us three times during the season. That means they were better than us.
Back to Mo Williams. Actually her back up Holmes played well during that game and that was not the reason we lost. They beat us on the inside.
We have a good nucleus coming back w/MW, VV and co so I think we can make another run next year.

Yea and USC beat Miss st 3 times. Thats 3 times. Congrats on Uconn win tho

The reason was the fact it was a late night game plus OT and because of the huge upset they spent too much time with the media and then went to eat. They got very little sleep.
Their was an article I read about SC the next day doing a walk thru crisp and energetic. Then went on to say Msu looked tired. That's the fault of nobody. You have to play at the times given plus SC had a very very good team.

vic schaefer orchestrated a national title run for texas A&M in a big 3 sport, then led mississippi state to the same game.
