The only time you'll see the cushions you are talking about is if they are zone blitzing. It's rare that you see that cushion though. I would put it at less than 15%.

You clearly do not understand a zone defense.

Dre has proven plenty and Milliner started for the defending champs as a true freshman. They both have tons of talent, especially Dre. Dre will go in the first round simply because of his measurables.

I wouldn't trade DB's with LSU, just as you wouldn't trade yours. Bama had the top D in the SEC again last year, just like they will this coming year.

That's highly arguable and opinionated, but Impossible to prove given the differences in the styles of defense. My comment was mostly bait btw

Are you kidding me, Buffalo has a great secondary... Also they will need a QB since they never got one

About as much as the LSU secondary. Outside of Fulton all of those guys have a ton of experience.

Yes we had some busts last year, but you are talking about three first year starters, and actually four when you talk about our nickel package which we are in 75 to 80 percent of the time.

We'll be good back there, as good as LSU I dunno. Both are very talented.

I'm sorry but I can't help but laugh at these LSU fans who seem to think that LSU won't miss the top corner to come out of CFB in a decade.

LSU DAb's and safeties Actually started games last year due to injuries. Simon covered Julio to perfection. Reid decimated opponents and broke back memories of Landry with some Of his hits. Mathieu and Claiborne made AA lists so I guess they had pretty good years. Both secondaries were burned on several occasions, but LSU is actually deeper at the DB spot than Bama. Argue it, i'll show you the facts. Mathieu and Claiborne weren't 5 stars(4* and a 2*) but they play like two 5*'s.

So your comment is a bit biased . Also what exactly has Menzie done it actual games?

Lsu's got some great young DB's. However, Lester was tied for the lead for INT's nationally and finished 2nd in the country with 8 last year. Bama finished 3rd in passes intercepted last year also, with 22, while Lsu finished with 19. They also helped Bama to a 6th ranked pass efficiency defense, compared to 23 for Lsu. Lsu did have a 10th ranked pass defense total, while Bama was 13th. And yall had a top 5 guy in there, while Bama did not. Bama returns everyone in the secondary. In the end, it's different defenses, and I'm sure neither would trade anyone for the other. We're 8 months away from knowing which will be the best this coming season.

Im not saying bama's secondary isn't good, but with PP gone I say our secondary as a whole is stronger than last year and it will be the best. Losing PP sucks, but our secondary was young last year and now will be more experienced. Claiborne is not as good as PP yet, but he did play last year and the other positions will be stronger this year.

I agree with this. I actually thought PP was the 2nd best DB on your team last year tbh.

Yea, PP7 was such a weak link in that D.

Bama's was young as well with 3 first year starters. The difference is we return everyone while LSU loses one of the best college corners ever.

You two are the definition of delusion thinking that your current corners are better than PP7.

My comment and BHP's were sarcasm. I thought it was pretty obvious .
