Yeah, Ole Miss is on the up. We're excited because we know we have a NC caliber team this year. LSU is pulling their hairs because that shite won't be solved overnight.

We're excited because our team can compete with any in the nation* at this point. The last time this was the case, it was 2008 and TA just a baby frosh in Oxford.

I'll just re post something I said in an earlier thread regarding this. Let me know if you disagree with any of these facts.

quote:

Pre season Top 10

a potential Heisman candidate (7-1 odds according to Vegas)

3 National Recruiter of the Year winners on staff-one being 2014

Still run LA recruiting, even when losing a few

back to back top 5 recruiting classes, and currently leading for five 5* for 2016

honestly, I'm not even remotely worried about where LSU is trending. Even mediocre QB play puts them in contention to win the west. But continue to cross those fingers and hope to see Ole Miss win something of any value.

On a serious note, if signing day was next month, I'd put my money on White to OM and Allen to LSU

Not for nothing, but I hope you're wrong. We loaded up with a couple elite OTs last year. OLB is a huge area of need. Or are you guys recruiting White as a RB?

Agree with all except Pre season Top 10.

It's a bowl game. Bowl games are a different type of game. Lots of teams don't give a flying frick if they missed their goal.

some have top 10, some have top 15

pre season ranking are shite, I know, but someone who knows more about football than any of us sees the talent LSU returns.

If Harris does his due diligence this offseason, LSU is going to be a top 5 team.

I hope I'm wrong, too and we get Allen also :)

We are recruiting White as a LB. We'll be depleted after this season.

I agree with that. But OM had a big bowl, unlike LSU and others. And yall didn't just lose, yall got gang raped.

You don't think OM was excited to play in their first NYE6 bowl since... Who knows when?

they had a big arse bowl

it's not like we're talking about Bama here. OM is not a National Championship or bust type program.

I hope so. I think Harris will take a step this year. I'd love nothing more than this year and next year to be Top 10 matchups between us.

Both MSST and Auburn will have to mature and gel extremely fast in order to beat LSU... Essentially the polar opposite of last year where we started the year with the young team.

LSU gets past those humps and they'll be a Top 5 team entering November.
