Danielson is the best in the business. And yes will miss the CBS intro song. I once had it as a ring tone.

He's difficult to listen during LSU games. Honestly, i think would call players the wrong names or just wrong from the start.
And always yapping about... "i don't know, i need to see that again." Like he's the damn replay official or some shite.

I’ve never understood the hate for Danielson. He’s one of the best analysts in the business. I’ve seen him predict plays and who’s getting the ball before the snap just by personnel and game situation hundreds of times. He does his homework. Dude played QB 10 years in the NFL. He knows his shite.
As for his supposed dick riding of Bama… I don’t think he does. But let’s say he does. Well, for 16 years Bama has been the best there is. Kinda hard to criticize a team that has won 6 national championships, has 15 straight years of 10+ wins, puts up to a dozen players in the NFL just about every year, and has the best coach(es) in the business.
I’m gonna miss Gary.

What most fans fail to understand is the media loves a good story, they love winners. A big name franchise or college blue blood being on top makes their job easier. It's also more exciting for them. Imagine if Rutgers won a championship one year, followed by Iowa St, Baylor, and then Oregon St? It simply doesn't move the needle like Michigan, Alabama, Oklahoma, and USC.
