If we lose McCarron, it will be Blake Sims the rest of the way. I shudder at the thought.

No Ely?

That's worse than we were with Randall and Rick Clausen.

Our back up situation is as bad as anyone. From the little I've seen of Ely he seems to have a noodle arm.

Sometimes having a bad game is a good thing. Coaches will get in their grills and they'll come out ready for Arky.

That would suck. It is hard to understand why saban didn't just run his backs in the 4th. That's what we did vs UNT and Washington.

Yeah, well I said in another thread. Alabama has been a "week to week" team ever since Saban got there. They seem to always follow great performances with lackluster ones. Never fricking fails. Especially against teams like WKU. I guess it's just inevitable.

Was it a lack of effort on their part or are they just not as good as advertised?

Saban's players do not lack effort. They have some problems IMO.

We didn't even try to run the ball.. and when we did it wasn't pretty. We barely went over 100 yds rushing.

The only reason Ely's name even get's mentioned is because P. Simms transferred. Ely is a scout team qb at best.

They stacked the box to stop the run. AJ made them pay for it. That's football.

I think Lacy is still injured. Fowler is now injured, so it's up to 3 freshmen. Maybe Saban just wanted to see if AJ could handle an increase in passing downs.

No kidding. That LAtech game in 09 is why Dooley got hired by UT.

Also the performance against an undermanned UNC and TN team in 2010 was pitiful.

The worst for LSU was that Troy game.

I wonder if we are going to see more of Kenyan Drake. In his limited role he seems to be producing more than Hart. His one carry yesterday was a 32 yard touchdown run.

That was bad, but our defense that year was led by co retards. I think that was the first time JJ saw action as well.

Had to come back from down 31

I swear to god at 1:45 Kouandjio looked like he straight quit on the play. That pisses me off. Fluker just got his arse kicked twice. The sack on AJ when he bootlegged on the PA was simply the perfect defensive call.

Luckily they weren't big shots or it may have cost us.

That's why I made the thread. The OL looked half assed the whole game.
