Not the full picture. 80's example:
Other "Big 6" games each played:
Bama: 24
AU: 36
AU faced FL, GA, UT, LSU a dozen more times than Bama in the 80's and all 4 of those teams were good and won SEC titles in the 80's.

I really don't know. I just saw it on another board and decided with all the scheduling threads it needed to come here...
I don't pay much attention to scheduling and his thinking may be flawed, I don't know..

Yep. Because we are not scared and like playing the best.
This article points out some interesting facts many of us know, but it is good to quantify.
How you want to view them is up to the individual. I'm not going to complain that bama historically plays the weakest schedule in the SEC. That's fine. I am just happy to point it out.

just to add to the thread bama has had it pretty easy here recently ill admit that...and they have gotten pretty lucky as well. im not going to complain though
