But Thank Cam we're not Mississippi State either . . . Don't let one good season against the Sun Belt (& the worst Auburn team in decades) write a check Merlin's hunchback can't cash

My point is that it's 2 years after a national championship, make him unload his staff and give him a year or two. That is likely what your ad is thinking anyway, having the hot trigger with coaches isn't exactly something you want to have a reputation for.

do me a favor...look at chizik's numbers, even include 2010 (although i know that taking 2010 out is the stat de jour around here) and tell me if you think that's acceptable. And if you come back and say yes please be prepared for the "we're not MSU" pot shot.

poor sentence structure, worse typing, yet a point none the less.

When we aubs were niave enough to suggest chiz was worth a damn the "cam did it all" was your rally cry. Now that we're looking like fools for stating that he was worth a damn, you guys are more than happy to say, but he won a nc, keep him. Basically i'm calling it double talk...from both ends.

Well to be honest you would have been one of the state fans calling for Mullen to be gone after last year, which obviously would have been a terrible move. I say unload his staff, he is the best coach in the past 50 years of your history based off of achievement alone.

if i was a state fan i'd have different expectations...if we're being honest.

Incorrect. Based off acheiveing the ultimate prize then yes...but based off other things...like statistics...no he is not.

Also it is a possiblity that auburn will retroactively some time in the future claim 93 and 2004 as title years. So does that mean bowden will be a great coach too? He also started 1-5 shortly after an undefeated season...know what happend?

I'll grant you that the grass isn't always greener on the other side...but this shite won't be tolerated.

It's great watching the all-in family cult exposed as the cowardly hypocrites they've always been.

Go ahead auburn, fire a coach two years after winning your only national championship in 50 years. Be sure to pick up those all-in family signs littering the stadium. Be sure to change all those billboards. Make sure you recite the auburn creed while you're doing it.

I can't wait to see what cult slogan auburn comes up with when they hire Petrino.

AUdultery?!?!?

Now thats more like it. Good point.

But one fact remains: those arguing for Chiz's continued tenure do so out of pure transparent self-interest. We know he sucks; no naivety involved. When Auburn argued for Chiz, they actually believed he was a good coach. So double talk from one end, naivety awakened by harsh reality on the other end.

I don't think Dye is Chiz's lacky... it's the other way around.

Hasn't he already reworked his staff? Bringing in the new OC and the 'stache? I might give him one more year if he can somehow get to 5 wins, but it isn't looking good for that. I mean it took an onside kick to beat Utah St last year. And they were drilled against any good team. Like Arky, LSU, Bama, and Georgia. Out scored 45-170 in just those games.

Sorry, that was an honest mistake

and sufficient enough to get you off your radio caller type "family" shite. As though no family has ever gone through a divorce...if you must keep the annalogy alive.
