Lol, last year your team was better and favored coming into the game. We started a 3rd string and y'all still lost
Yep. We played like shite. No way around it. It was literally the worst game we've played in two years, and y'all still needed overtime to win.
Y'all fricking suck balls, and we giftwrapped a football game for you. Hell, y'all were itching to hire Hud just a few weeks ago, but now that y'all beat Ole Miss all is well. It's amazing how a win over the TSUN BEARS(!!!1) totally validates y'all's existences.

I'll somewhat agree.... It is amazing how this game completely flipped the psyche of the two fan bases.
I will say though that all of the "we played like crap and you still needed overtime to beat us" is complete horseshite. We played a true freshman third string QB who we had to steal from USM at the last minute, and you still lost.

Well I still think OM is on an upward trajectory, and I'm not calling for Wallace and Freeze's heads. They played a shitty game. That happens.

I'm not sure I follow. Sentence two isn't a logical response to sentence one, as far as I am concerned.
State isn't good. The fact that they were starting a scrub quarterback is simply more evidence to support that claim. Ole Miss had to play an awful game on offense (five turnovers, weak playcalling, poor execution, and so on) to lose to such a bad football team, and they did.

So you wouldn't say that our run defense made y'all one dimensional making Bo throw the ball around more?

I'm simply responding to you and several others acting like yall played like crap while we put forth our best effort of the year and still needed overtime. What beat you Thanksgiving night was far from our A game.

Oh it did. State's front seven is great (GOT YOUR MONEY'S WORTH OUTTA CHRIS JONES AMIRITE :sixpackspeakinreverse:), but even that taken into consideration the play calling was weak and uninspired, and Bo's throws were simply off. He was making bad decisions and missing open guys.
If the Bo Wallace that played against LSU played against State on Thanksgiving, that game's not close. He played like shite (but, yes, State's front seven deserves some credit).

I never commented on how State played, just how Ole Miss played. So your argument is in response to an argument I wasn't actually making.

C'mon man. State's defense shut down that basketball on grass bullshite. Your offense only managed to score a field goal. Your Oline is garbage. Your RBs are garbage. Your QB has a shitty arm.
This whole posts just sounds mad coming from you.

Have to change it to basketball on artificial turf. Basketball on real grass clearly doesn't work.

This makes no sense. The fact that we still won with our 3rd string true freshman quarterback taking the majority of the snaps is in direct conflict with your logic.
Dak will be back and healthy next year.

Which is totally why A&M didn't score 50-something on you... Oh wait.
State's run defense is good. I agree, but don't delude yourself into thinking that your defense is something better than it actually is. Yeah, they played well, but don't pretend that we didn't play literally our worst game in two seasons.

Well we're injured at literally all three of those places but...
And what does it say about State that, Ole Miss, with a "garbage" OL and a "garbage" set of running backs have put together a better season rushing the ball than State (even with the Egg Bowl taken into account)?
By all reasonable measures, Ole Miss is a better football team than State, but played a worse game and lost as a result. It happens. You don't have to keep lying to yourself about how good you think State is, bro.
Remember, a mostly healthy OM waxed y'all last year. Pretty much the same damn players too. That same "shitty armed" quarterback threw five touchdowns against y'all. Hell, he's 3rd in the SEC in pass and total yards per game. Honestly, this dogging of Wallace from both Ole Miss and State fans simply doesn't hold up to any sort of reasoning or statistics whatsoever.

No it's not. Not at all. You're being willfully ignorant.
Hey, guess what, bad teams can (and do) beat better football teams. It happens literally every single week. Hell, Ole Miss beat LSU this year, but that doesn't mean Ole Miss is the better team, just that Ole Miss played the better game.

Your hatred runs deep DC... I can respect that... But we lost... Plain and simple... Just gotta let the Grinders enjoy it... Acting like an TSUN engie doesnt accomplish anything.

Maybe now he will get a f'n haircut and stop running his mouth so much.
So far he has looked like a girl out there playing ball.

Yes. We lost. That's my point exactly.
State is not the better football team. By any objective measure they are not a good football team. Just look at the records, stats, and betting lines if you'd like, because they all tell the same story. We played like shite and lost to them. It was an upset. How is this something that is at all contentious?
