what did he mean with the "strong arse offer" statement??

Doesn't matter what it meant. For all they know maybe the offer was to be a day 1 starter. It was totally about money imo but my opinion isn't proof

Damn Skippy. These slap dicks run to this board every time some arse clown regurgitates the same shite over and over. But, let someone post a tweet from one of those same people about the other side and they come in here crying about it.

What did you expect him to say?

LSU is going to burn their basketball program to the ground over Will Wade. What a time to be alive

Joe Alleva tried.
The NCAA tried.
The FBI tried.

Will Wade is untouchable!

Sure as hell does matter what he meant... If he was talking about money then I hope he gets axed and never coaches again. But if he meant something such as being a "day 1 starter" then I hope he has a career that rivals Bobby Knight..

With that said, I don't think anyone with half a brain thinks Wade is innocent here. But if I'm wrong then I'll eat my crow..

It doesn't matter what I believe. It only matters what I can prove!

Again, doesn't matter what people think, it matters what they can prove. Sorry

I didn't know Wade had his own lawyers separate from those employed by LSU to handle his case.

Wade has had legal representation since the original yahoo article broke over 2 years ago. Him not having a lawyer would be idiotic. And it’s typically not advisable to retain an attorney of an institution you work for. That can conceivably create a conflict. In the real world people don’t typically share attorneys unless the parties are co-petitioners of the same cause of action. Him having private counsel doesn’t insinuate anything. Sounds like the dumb argument that only guilty people hire attorneys. No, smart people hire attorneys that will represent their best interests. University attorneys are indebted to the University, not Will Wade.

Lol. Why do people keep repeating this?

The NCAA used false information a OM booster’s wife fed to an investigator while sleeping with him in one of their cases against Sherrill. They were later sued over this and settled after the first day in court because it went so poorly for them.

If they are 70% sure you cheated, especially with the audio recordings available to the public, they will make it work.

Everyone knows what he meant. The only question is whether there is a paper trial to prove it. And that’s been the million dollar question for 2 years, pun intended

All big coaches do. It’s the fact that his lawyer is communicating with the NCAA that’s damning.

Of course. He isn't being charged with a crime.

LSU Basketball has been mostly doormat since last winning the league in 2009 before Wade.

Are we still living off that, 2006, the Dale Brown years, or Pistol Pete?

programs that arent natural blue bloods need to do whatever it takes to get ahead. I would rather be Icarus and burn for flying too close to the sun...than be a program that once every 8-12 years makes a sweet sixteen or content being the occasional conference team that boosts Kentucky's tournament resume.
