Happens all the time. Defense isn’t going to rely on a voluntary appearance from a friendly witness. You have to request a subpoena to ensure you get the testimony
You can’t get a testimony if the “witness” pleads the 5th the whole time.....even under subpoena

How would that help the defense? Like I said that just incriminates them further

They're putting Wade under oath to throw him under the bus. That's the defense.
There isn't any possible good outcome for Wade or LSU that can come from him being cross examined about recruiting under oath, or from those tapes being released.
Sean Miller also got a subpoena, I'd love to hear you try and spin how its a good thing that Wade is tied so closely to Miller in all this.

Because he said today it was the first he heard about them wanting him in the trial. There is literally no reason why he would deny being previously asked to participate in the case since he is now participating anyway

He doesn't know shite, he's grasping at straws.

Lol bro, says the one that thought Wade was being subpoenaed by a grand jury. You’re right I’m the one that knows nothing

Why do you think a defense attorney would have to Subpoena a “witness” that didn’t do anything wrong and could help his client???
Is this a sincere question?

Wade isnt willingly helping, but instead has to be subpoenaed
Any attorney worth his hourly rate will subpoena every witness regardless of whether they promise they’ll be there. It would be borderline malpractice not to
And why the frick would Wade take days out of his already busy schedule to go be a witness unless he’s required to? He has no dog in this case. Would you willingly volunteer for jury duty?

You are the most clueless poster on this board. I would trust anyone's info, opinion, or prediction over yours.
