I
I didn’t include him because I didn’t think he would get many votes, but I just added him.

Ace Sanders return Specialist. Not sure how many punt returns he had for TDs but it was a lot.

Thanks
I mean he was the SEC Special Teams Player of the Year in 2012. Led the country in punt returns for TDs and led the league in PR net avg.

Landis Durham was a defensive end, not a linebacker, Armani Watts was a safety, not a corner)
Both are listed as the positions I put in SportsReference.
According to the 2017 ALL SEC Team wiki page, Watts was awarded 1st team ALL SEC for the CB position.

Melvin Ingram (1st round draft pick) was an OLB who flexed into DE from time to time in certain defenses. He wasn't a DE.

He’s good but there is zero chance he will be in the Top 6.

My mistake. I will fix.

Sorry, he just doesn’t make the cut.

I’m sorry man, but that’s the kind of stuff I can’t help you with. I’m going 100% based off SportsReference’s classification. It took me long enough to do this without reading every player’s biography.

Shaq Wilson was a first team All SEC MLB, the consummate MLB, led the team in tackles all four years PLUS he had ten (10) interceptions which I think broke the record for SEC MLBs.
Ten is more than most DBs have in their careers.
The guy was the prototypical ball hawk.
He had a bunch of sacks and forced fumbles too.

Well if not happy with who others are voting for because it isn’t your choice then why ask? Just make an all SEC team with your choices.
I voted Key and Clowney. Is that acceptable?
Since LSU had less choices than actual LSU players, I’d guess it’s the team with more homeristic choices. Not LSU fans. Key was really good.

Fair enough. DCs didn't know how to classify Ingram either .... which made him impossible to game plan for.
Coach Johnson once said they just sort of let Melvin do his thing and he was usually in the right place at the right time.
Lined up on Special Teams too .... took a short snap on a punt 70 yards for a TD against UGA in Athens. The guy could be anywhere, you never knew.
He's still doing it in the NFL too. Made the NFL Top 50 players list as voted on by his peers last year.
Incredible athlete.

Damn Steve SPURrier's arse. Kid was committed to us out of Greenwood for two years until SPURrier opened that big mouth of his.
Key was definitely very good when he wanted to turn it on.

I can view individual responses.
Someone chose their 3 QBs as Burrow, Kyle Shurmur, and Bo Wallace.
Multiple LSU fans are clearly just trying to make it an all LSU team instead of choosing the best 3.
I see nothing wrong with what you did. But people choosing Kyle Shurmur just to steal a vote from a more deserving player is ridiculous.

I got a third of the way through and there were so many omissions and required to pick so many options that I said frick it.

Hard to believe Stephon Gilmore (1st round draft pick and generally considered the best CB in the NFL right now) wasn't good enough to make this list.
Kid was a shut down corner who could dominate a game.
1st Team All SEC
