Vols: What is Going on with Marquez North?

Still injured & recovering? Just looking through some stats for the first time this year seeing how a quarter of the season has been played & pretty shocked to see he's only got 4 catches for 38 yds & 3 of those last week were vs Western Carolina.
Seems like a guy that has to get going if UT wants to end up where they want by the end of the season. Thoughts?

He was a bit banged up in camp and I think that played a part in it.
The other issue many fans are irritated with is our O staff's obsession with rotating WR's every 1-2 plays.
They bring 3 new receivers in two or three times a drive and it seems like none of them get into rhythm.
North has had a lot of balls thrown his way and it just seems like timing is off with him and Dobbs. He really seemed to connect really well with Worley and hasn't done much since Dobbs has taken over if you look at the breakdown.

He got hurt in fall camp and isn't 100%. Supposedly is getting better every week. He just hasn't had many chances yet this season. I think we rotate too many WRs to get any of them going.

Overall passing & receiving stats were pretty surprising to look at today given all the talk about that WR corps in preseason, which is very talented. Dobbs going for 158 a game stands out, though he is taking care of the football which if Vandy's QB were doing would have made a big difference in the season thus far.
North w/ 38 yds
Pearson w/ 57
Howard w/ 1 catch for 8 yds
Malone seems to be coming along a bit & looks to be having a decent season thus far.

I didn't even know we had receivers. Because all we do is run up the middle every play.
