Ucla has good facilities now.
If by "good" you mean "as good as or slightly better than Vanderbilt" then yes.
They have no room to build anything really decent. They are like Tulane in that their campus is surrounded by million dollar homes. UCLA has a 419 acre campus, Tulane 110 acres.
Those ritzy neighbors will not allow any improvements that would bring additional traffic to the area.
What UCLA needs to do is go the route West Virginia did: build a satellite campus and make a monorail link to it. Put all their athletic facilities there.
It's ridiculous for the team and the fans to have to make a sixty to ninety minute trip to get to the Rose Bowl for games.

Doesn't seem to affect Miami

And you think Miami has decent facilities? In anything?

Same type guy as Gruden, only he's coached more recently. Would be a weak recruiter in the SEC, but there aren't many good names out there right now.

I know you are a lsu fan and reading comprehension is a bit lacking, but the quoted text of what I posted was talking about how ucla and Tulane can't expand their campuses due to expensive properties surrounding them. How ucla has to travel 90 mins to their home games.... you know kinda like how Miami has to travel to their stadium. lsu won't ever have that issue so y'all can build all facilities in whatever swamp is nearby.

You're insane if you think it takes Miami sixty to ninety minutes to get from the U's campus to Hard Rock Stadium. It’s a 30-minute drive on a good day. On a bad day 40 min.
Talk about my comprehension. Yeah, that's still bad. But Miami at least doesn't have to pay a dime for upkeep at their new digs, unlike UCLA.
And Miami is looking into building a new stadium at Tropical Park. Dunno if that will work or not. My point is, Miami is way better off stadium wise than UCLA.

Incorrect again jr.
This was the point you were trying to make...

whether you were trying to be a smartass or not, I don't think you even know what the point you're trying to make is.

How could one person be as clueless as you are about this? First off, as I already mentioned, Miami's agreement with Hard Rock Stadium is far more advantageous to Miami than is the case for UCLA with the Rose Bowl.
The Dolphins pay for the lion's share of the upkeep, and the stadium is appointed to NFL standards. Whereas UCLA is on the hook for a much larhger share of the Rose Bowl's upkeep, and the seating is mostly college level...I.E. bleachers.
Access to the Rose Bowl is mostly via single lane residential streets, and there is no dedicated parking for visitors. Hard Rock Stadium has over 140 acres of parking available, and is accessed via major highways.
