Oh I know. I've been down there a bunch. If you see a guy with a power t shaved into his chest hair come say hey.

Noon kickoffs sometimes work better for me getting drunk. Cause instead of waking up hungover, I wake up still drunk, and because it's rough to drink beer in the morning, I usually go for liquor for early games to increase my drinking efficiency. The combination always makes for a good time

Hah, will do. I'll even share my bottle of Crown or Woodford with you

I don't mind them because I feel like I can get drunk twice in a day

Well I know I'll be there. I'm planning on being the most obnoxious person in Athens that weekend. I don't care if it was an 8am kickoff, I'd get up at 4 to start drinking

Good luck. We take pride in our assholishness

As a home team I hate noon games, crowd is dead.

Buck Belue : Pruitts defense stinks.

frick. I'm planning on taking my first trip to Athens for this. Maybe it gives more time to explore the town as opposed to stationary tailgating, though.

I would ask that you please consider the noon kickoff in your experiences. Athens is awesome and I hope you are blown away, but obviously it will look a bit different than a 3:30 or evening kickoff. I'd just hate for you to leave town thinking "man..that was it?"

I sure will as far as crowd noise and tailgating. Do u think stuff that Athens has a good rep for, like bar scene and music and stuff, will be compromised?

I've been to all three different kickoff times at games in Athens (not necessarily Tennessee games), it'll be fine. It actually might be better for the bar scene cause you get to go ahead and go to them at 4:00 and stay as long as you want

Tenn vs uga was ESPN's FIRST choice for the noon kickoff game. Even when those programs are down, they're winning.

The expansion teams had to settle for CBS and ESPN primetime.

Looks like my buddies and I will have to start up the tailgate at 6AM then.

Go Vols! Will be my 5th trip to Athens!

Friday night and saturday night downtown at the bars should be normal. But the during the day goings on around town will probably take a hit simply due to gametime, and I'd say that regardless of opponent.

I've been to a TN UGA game at Noon, 3:30 and at night. They are all good in their own way, but the 3:30 was probably the best.

Noon was good because we just raged all night Friday night and took a quick power nap and woke up early and continued with the tailgate. Then after the game just walked directly back to the bars and watched the rest of the days games and went into the night.

It will still be fun...trust me.

Exactly. It's a game that is almost always electric. In fact, I've never seen a bad UGA/UT game.
