I just want to congratulate the Mizzou Tiger poster for being THE BIGGEST IDIOT on this thread. Babbles all this BS and still doesn't get it. Who's paying the players on his team? The state of Missouri That's how we lost one of our targeted recruits! He just needs to sit down and STFU!
The misunderstanding is on your part. This is not about pay for play. This is about UT violating the rules on unofficial visits by hosting recruiting activities on a trip paid for by a third party. This was a rules violation long before NIL was ever first thought of.

Now waiting for another of his BS rebuttals.
Lawsuits towards the NCAA just got served.
If Missouri enters, what is he going to say about that?

STFU!
This coming from a fan that whose state has to pay players like state employees.

Actually only if it was coordinated between UT athletic officials and Spyre AND you can prove it. Which there is no indication that it was or is. It was not a planned official visit by any indication. What was UT supposed to do in your scenario? Nico shows up and they turn him away? Especially since they were not expecting him or knew of why he was in town?
The NCAA rules are quite clear. No unofficial visit can occur on a trip paid for by anyone other than the recruit’s family or legal guardian.
It does not have to be coordinated by Spyre and UT to be a violation. A school can’t plead ignorance of a trip’s financing while having a third party running around paying for trips for recruits to the school when the school has recruiting activities for the recruits.

Idiot. Missouri doesn’t pay players like state employees.
And it is a level 1 violation for unofficial visits.

Get ready to be a middle of the pack school. There's no divisions so you guys will never sniff the Top 2. You can babble all this BS as much as you want.
If Nico wants to make an unofficial visit,he can do that. This was a planned trip between him and Spyre. THAT IS IT!
Since Nico has a cousin at UT on the softball team, are you saying he can't visit her either?
What an ubiquitous moron!

So what the hell was passed to forward advanced payments to those who commit to the university. That's how we lost one of our targeted recruits!
Too bad it didn't work on the Wingo kid HAHAHAHAHAHA
He said screw the claws I'm going to hook them horns.

You dummies don’t get it. UT hosted recruiting activities for Nico. He met with the coaches. They told him how they see him in their offense.
That’s all fine on an unofficial visit. The problem is the rules on unofficial visits are that the recruit’s family or legal guardian has to pay for them. They can take as many as they want too.
But trips that are paid for by anyone else that includes recruiting activities can only happen ONCE per school for a recruit. That is called an official visit.
UT’s recruiting activities are the violation. Not Spyre flying Nico out there. Not Nico stepping foot on campus. The violations are related to the coaches hosting recruiting activities for Nico.
Why is this so hard for you dummies to grasp?

Drop it because the NCAA is getting sued and it's the end of them.
There's nothing wrong with what happened since there's no clarity on NIL rules since the court made them redundant.
STFFU!

He’s the new Harry von Pruitt. Obsession is real. He was also obsessed with the Vols all football season because of standing on bidness.

They were all SOOO hoping that Kirby's little plan was going to bear fruit.
Too bad, so sad.

You telling me mophead told on us.
That's kind of an irony because there doing the same damn thing Alabama is doing.
Like teacher, like student
Except Beldor effed up
Then there's this Mizzou dumb--- who don't understand these two schools were doing it before NIL became real.
He is hoping his school becomes a relevant force.
Sorry, he can go in the back of the line until they win a SEC Championship.
Other than that, he needs to STFU!

Why do you believe this? I’m honestly curious now. So if a recruit is on an official visit to Missouri and the school pays them to fly in and they have a 6 hour layover in Knoxville so they do an unofficial visit to UT which school committed the violation?
If a kid catches a ride with a teammate to do an unofficial visit a school is that illegal in your mind?
If a kid is doing a winter fest trip to Gatlinburg with his youth group and takes a tour of UT did the church commit a violation?
Nico was in town on a business trip and stopped by the university. It’s not a violation anymore than any other I mentioned.

Tennessee and Virginia attorney generals filed lawsuits against the NCAA. Rumor has it up to 30 to 40 schools will join the Lawsuit.
