I just booked reservations for the Lsu vs Tenn weekend. I don't have tickets yet. Any sites I can get a good deal on tickets? Or can you get them by the stadium the day of? Stub hub and vivid seats prices are outrageous for how awful these teams are playing.
Anyone going to be in the pigeon forge/Gatlinburg area? I went in 2011 and had fun.
Any good places to eat? I ate at the drive in that was featured on diners drive ins and dives the last time I went through knoxville. (don't remember the name tho)
And will Tennessee fans actually show up? Last time Lsu fans dominated the stands

I imagine they'll be giving tickets away for free soon enough in Knoxville

How many are you coming with?

With the way this season looks to be going, I'd imagine it should be easy to snag a group of 4 at face value on the day of the game.

Face value???? I'd expect they will be less that twenty bucks by gameday

Trust me, DO NOT buy tickets online. Buy tickets at the game. You'll likely get to chose your seat by then.

Are there usually people all over the place selling them, or certain areas? Or not too many

I actually live in Louisiana and I'm going to the game. However, for every concert or ball game I've been to over the last 15+ years I buy on the street at the venue. There should be TONS of tickets available for this one with plenty of empty seats to sit where you please. I would not stress.

Scalping is legal in TN, you will get face value tickets no problem for this shitfest. The closer to kickoff the cheaper, hell if you wait long enough you will get below face value.
