Because Georgia fans use one national title over Bama to ignore all the times that losing to Bama cost them a shot at the national title.
Georgia is to Tennessee what Alabama is to Georgia. That might change in two weeks but until Georgia does it, it’s still accurate.

The difference is we haven't fallen to become a 4 loss team. And we aren't losing to an unranked team every month on average. If you were still better or equal to us outside of the matchup itself, I can see it. But it's simply not the same as what's going on with UGA and Tennessee right now. You're kind of like Zook's UF to RIcht's UGA right now. Much better comparison. 2017 to 2020 was half a decade ago.

Look at the Bama fans making this about them. Pathetic.

Bama against Georgia last 10 years.

That 9-1 record that Bama fans get so gay for goes back almost 20 years, dipshit.

Post-dynasty, "But we beat Georgia" is the biggest thing that Alabama fans have to cling onto.
Imagine 10 years ago, or even 5 years ago, that Bama fans would spend so much time thinking about Georgia and beating Georgia would be such a huge point of pride and badge of honor.
It's pretty fricking flattering if anything.
