Tennessee is a football school and always has been. Anything extra like Basketball or Women's basketball is just a plus. UK fans are just the opposite. Any success that there football team has is just a plus. Just so happens that the rest of the SEC is Football first. That's where UK fans and the rest of the SEC bump heads.

switch this to UGA and i agree. Our baseball team is good. That's great and all but i'd much rather our football team be successful.

You MTSU fan.....I bet you're happy that the coach stayed and not gone to ECU.

Yeah, I'm glad he stayed. At first I thought he was going to take the Memphis job but he turned it down then tuned down the ECU job. He would be making more at either school than what he's making right now. Guy needs a raise, he's done good things for MTSU. Took them to their first bowl game and 2nd Bowl game in 4 years.

Not to mention he's the first Sun Belt coach to win 10 games in a year.

He will get a bigger job in a year or two if he keeps up the success...

Yeah, that's what I'm worried about. I don't know if MT will find another coach that could bring the same success that he's had.

Don't you find it a little sad that our darkest days in football are similar to what you consider your glory days?

Also, I would wager UK has won just as many (I am thinking much more SEC titles) then UT in athletics the past 5 years.

uhh, no. ut has more national champions in all athletics combined than any other team in the conference. florida is second, i highly doubt uk is even in the top half. nice try though pussy cat.

Re-read what I said...

UK has won a bunch of SEC's in other sports.

I do not count winning Eastern Divisions....straight up SEC's.

So, you wanna tell me about the women's basketball team?
