I'll do you a favor and post this request on the Florida board. That way people that have zero idea what they're talking about won't be commenting on such.

Midtown is more collegey bars downtown probably has more post grad patrons. I will say that a drunken slice of pizza in midtown is awesome

I never go there. I'm just saying if you want to see insanely hot girls in no clothing that's a good spot.
Food there is a ton of good options we have really strong diversity in food.

Lol If you've never seen a giant ground sloth, mastodon, sabre tooth tiger or a terror bird you should check that place out. All of those animals used to live in the southeast and what is now Florida just a few million years ago and some were around more recently than that.

All AU newcomers should visit Lake Alice and go wading knee deep to cool off...lot of beautiful scenery....wild birds and animals to admire.

If I were you guys I would do downtown Friday night.
-The Top has great food and a cool vibe. Try the burgers and sweet potato fries.
-MojoQ is downtown as well and had good bbq and makes a good old fashioned.
-OAK has a cool atmosphere as well. I normally try to stop by here for a drink and some shuffleboard when going out with a buddy.
-Big Top is a brewery downtown that serves food as well.
-Madrinas is a good craft cocktails bar (but don’t get the one that comes in a flamingo)
-if you guys like arcade games, go to the Barcade near the corner of university and main st. It’s a 3 level arcade bar with all the classics.
For Saturday I would head over to the Social at Midtown. Giant sports bar with a rooftop terrace. Tons of beer options and food is pretty decent (chicken tenders are good here). They have a golden tee also if you guys play. There are other bars at midtown but they are more college bars that will be a little dirtier and more packed. The Swamp restaurant is cool if you can get a table on the front lawn, good people watching spot. There’s a pizza by the slice joint at midtown also that’s delicious.
If you guys like craft beer I’d suggest visiting Swamphead brewery over the other breweries. They do a football fest Friday’s before games. Their Oktoberfest beer is really good.
