Was he complaining about it before the loss?

SEC WBB is tough from top to bottom as a conference. It is what it is.

No, he wasn't. He thought he was gonna roll on through.

LSU had already lost a couple of conference games out of the chute .... he thought his girls would roll into Red Stick, take care of business, then head to Soda City for the big national matchup featured game this Thursday night.

Instead, he became the first ever #2 ranked (or above) win for LSU in their history. Mulkey and Vickey are not friends btw.

And he's still got SC waiting for him which, btw, Texas handed SC their only loss already earlier this season, back in November, a 64-66 loss in Vegas in the Players Championship. SC was #2 at the time, Texas was #4.

Vic E made another comment last night to the broadcast crew about LSU caught them looking ahead to SC and the whole two road games in a row was thrown in there .... I dunno, I thought it was disrespectful ro Mulkey and LSU.

You're right Belle ... SEC WBB is a gauntlet for everyone. It is, by far imho, the most competitive sport in the most competitive league in the country, bar none.

It’s basically talking out of both sides of your mouth.

“We’ll play anyone, the schedule is what it is….

But at the same time, we’ll whine about it and act as if no other schools deal with tough scheduling…”

What an absolute clown...and he is going to make me stick up for LSU here.

They played 3 top 12 teams in a row...Scheduling is brutal when you have a deep league.

All that said, that is a tough back to back road week, at LSU followed 4 days later by at Carolina, so I would probably be griping about it myself.

I mean I wouldn't. Id use it as a time to tell my girls this is what the later rounds of the tournament look like.

Gotcha so each team plays a home - home (which is what I thought).

If thats the case he just doesnt lime playing top 4 SEC teams back to back on the road.

Seems silly given all else is equal.

He used to be a good man. Now he's just another Texas coach that whines about everything

Yes he has complained about it before the loss. Still comes off as whining and he shod be embarrassed

I find myself happy that LSU won last night as well ... even though I would have preferred Texas coming into the CLA this Thursday night undefeated.

Schaefer made me change my mind.
