Honestly bama and ark won’t improve their seeds no matter what they do in tourney
Bama will be a 2 with no shot at 1 line
Ark might squeak into a 2 with a tourney title but most likely will stay a 3

While you are likely correct, it's possible Ohio State could lost their first B1G tournament game and drop. I seriously doubt they could drop in any other scenario though.

I don’t think Ohio st is who they are chasing for a 1
They are intent on two big ten teams getting 1 seed

Sorry, last one I had read had OSU, but was probably dated. Illinois is probably the last #1 seed, considering their record and losses. Still a stronger case than Alabama, which is why they have to lose bad in their tournament and Alabama win the SEC tournament to slide in at #1.

Illinois is definitely riding some strong ranked wins, because their actual overall SOS is lower than Alabama's with a similar record. CBS bracketology has Alabama's SOS at 12; Illinois is at 45. Interestingly, Baylor's is 106th and Gonzaga's 57 (but both obviously have insanely better records than Alabama)
