The concept follows what the Texas Rangers, St Louis Cardinals and Atlanta Braves have done in terms of incorporating retail space surrounding the stadiums.

The big catch is that those places host at least 81 games a season in those stadiums. That’s 81 days it attracts thousands of people to the area, plus any other days there are events taking place at the stadium.

I like the fact that they are adding more to do near the stadium...but hate the fact that they will be further obscuring the view of the Tennessee River.

I’d be livid for this reason.

Put that down the river, just doesn’t need to be what people see when they are walking into the stadium.

The river setting with the Vol navy is frankly what makes Neyland iconic, anything that takes away from that shouldn’t happen.

Why are the Longhorns approving shite in Tennessee?
Maybe you should keep up with current events.

The SEC has decided the real UT. Sorry if this has caused you vaginal pain.

These things always look so awesome in the renderings.

Then they get built.

Okay. Give us a rundown on what Florida has lined up in the way of stadium/campus improvements.
