Evangel is in 2A like JC, they used to be in 4A. West Monroe is pretty legit though. In Louisiana a lot of the top programs are private schools so you'll find a lot of 2-4A teams that can take the giant public schools to the wood shed.

Evangel was in 5A for several years before being relegated back down to 2A based on its enrollment. My argument is that if Curtis would have had no problem winning in 5A, why not move up?

Considering JC typically owns Evangel I don't see why you think they were scared.

Not saying that they were scared...just wondering why the move was never made up to 5A for Curtis. A lot of people in the New Orleans area wondered the same thing.
