Additionally, this thread (and the others like it this week) were generally good natured ribbing of fans between 2 teams that play each other... if you come into the discussion trolling, it's not UGA Hype that you're dealing with rather reaction to your own comments.
I haven't seen a ton of UGA fans starting posts... "Suck it Bama... We're in First. You don't deserve to be there..."
Most people have generally said... "If it's primarily based on resume... sure. I can see it."
Whether we're 1/2 or 2/1 at present really makes no difference. It will sort itself out and may flip flop more than once between now and any potential matchup in Atlanta.

Bentley is a good QB and has the potential of being big time QB. However, what has hurt Bentley is the lack of run support in the running game. I think in 2016, the two best defenses he faced was Florida and Clemson. If you look at the stats of that game, the run game didn't exist and their offense got dominated in those two games. The biggest cause of this was the offensive line was weak. I think tomorrow will be the best defense they have played since the Clemson game last year. This year so far, South Carolina's total offense is ranked 108. Their passing offense is ranked 75th and rushing offense is ranked 107th. The offense is basically the same as it was last year. If South Carolina's offense can't block and the running game is shut down very early in the game tomrrow, I just don't see how South Carolina will be able to score much tomorrow. Like I said, Bentley is a very good QB and the potential of being a big time QB but if he doesn't get any help, then his numbers will always look average and not reflect how good a QB he really is.
