Infield in, I would take my chances with contact hitter. Not sure how the catcher was not a contact hitter, looked really bad.

One good thing is Gray's already up in the 80s in pitches

Yeah, but he threw 130 his last time out. He's got stuff, but he's also an innings eater.

Yeah, he's not laboring but it is concerning how he mostly works ahead and then gets full. The arm slot is wicked.

Yeah, he doesn't give any hints. I mean, it's pretty obvious why he went so early.

In football I never pull for other SEC teams but for some reason baseball is different. I wish all the SEC teams the best of luck, if LSU cant pull it off I hope the rest of youzzzzz guyzzzzzz can take the title for the SEC.

Nice play by SS. Step across is usually a 2B move. Caps tipped kid.

Bregman and Nola are looking very impressive. LSU fans, what can you tell me about new Cardinal Mason Katz?

Long swing. Remains to be seen how that will translate. Drafted as 2B because that's where his size best translates, but could be utility guy even to the point of bullpen catcher. Definitely a gamer though.

Huh. Interesting that the Cards drafted him that high, but they obviously see something they like. Glad to have him as a Cardinal!

Has there ever been a better name for an LSU pitcher?

Nola reminds me of Daniel Bard.
