fwiw uga's Ealey said Spikes did NOT deserve the suspension. said they was just playin' ball.

well at least we know this ...ealey eyes didnt get poked out and no one was hurt and if ne of u have ever played football this happens 50 times a game ..it is very similiar to beaning a batter in baseball its just wierd that the best linebacker in the nation got caught on tv and now its a big deal go back 25 yrs and look at what they use to do wow....gatorbait

I'm glad Ealey wasn't injured dawg. The refs should have gotten control earlier in the game. Way too chippy and the bad blood is worsened by the recent win loss record.
ETA: I don't agree with Ealey. Spikes deserves it.

He wouldn't have said that if he was blind.
But anyway, linemen play dirty like that all the time.
Get with the new program and try to look cool with a visor (it also helps prevents eye gouge attempts).
