Lange has been the ace for a while but due to the shifty schedules (Thur-Sat series to Fri-Sun series) he threw 2nd a lot because coaches wanted to give him the full rest.
He's easily been our best pitcher this year, he started out #2 because he was just a freshman. He hasnt lost a start all season.

And a very smart baserunning play by Kendall. He created that contact, but the catcher was in the basepath, so we get the interference and free run.
For those not watching, Jeren Kendall got caught in a rundown between home and third. The pitcher chased him back to 3rd. After the toss to the 3B, he threw it to the catcher way too soon. Kendall got nearly back to 3rd when the catcher threw it, but C stayed in the basepath a bit. Kendall ran into him on purpose and got the interference call to score the run.
8-0 with 2 outs in the top of the 5th and a man on 2nd.

Everything is going right for Vanderbilt. They even scored after being caught in a rundown because of interference by Illinois.

Foster is always good for at least one for our opponents (though I blame Chinea for the shitty approach at pulling that one in as well). Should be into the bottom right now
