It will be really funny when Texas 8&4 hands the W to tu at Kyle Field for them to go... 8-4.

Hopefully A&M can figure out a way to win against SCe and ZeroU, but it's a dumpster fire with the current QB.

You'd really be doing us a solid by beating us at Kyle.

You know getting a W in that game alone would salvage this season for many fans and many Big Money Ags. And of course, as a fan, I have a "burning desire" for that W too. But strategically, I hope we lose. Especially if dumbfrick Elmo still have Reed at QB or has not made any substantive changes to the O scheme, playcalling, etc.

If that W saves Sark regime in Austin, let's do it. And honestly, statistically I think your team better off in most categories right now. A&M has a rebuilding year with worse playcalling and playmakers than your team. I can't see A&M scoring much because Reed and this piddly Wiggins playcalling has been figured out by all competent defenses. There are many ways Texas can win this game, but the path to a W for A&M is quite narrow.

How is it sustainable? How long are wealthy people going to donate money to buy an athlete who has not proven themselves beyond high school, or has only a year or so in college at a high level, and not get the national title they covet for their team? No matter how much anyone donates there will still be one national champion and one only. That means that all but a small number of donors are going to be disappointed. At some point many are going to start demanding something more than a shot at a national title as they realize they ain't got that for their money. At what point do many say they're out?

I saw a commercial sometime recently that had 3 players from the same team selling something. I can't remember what it or they were but I remember thinking "who is going to buy that because of this commercial"....I don't know who is buying Dr Pepper because of their ads....seems like it would be very few people who were unaware that Sr Pepper exists without those ads. I think it may actually deter people - I know I would stop buying Dr Pepper if I bought it at all given what those ads have done to the flow of the game.

now kids are getting paid in college so guess I’ll have to start watching high school to see kids play 100% so they can get paid in college.
