Clemson plays FSU every year and has seriously been a threat for half a decade now.
True, but they (FSU)are not a wide open throw 70% of the time offense. They have a big running game with a running QB. Designed QB runs. Oklahoma appears to me to be a throw, wide open offense.

And yes, Oklahoma has faced some really good rushing attacks (Auburn, Ohio State).
Auburn was missing Kerryon Johnson that game. That's quite a hole to fill.
Ohio State is a legit running team, but they had a 50/50 mixture of runs and passes against Oklahoma. Don't ask me why. Oklahoma didn't pull away until the 4th quarter.

Yeah, it really shows with all the posts you'be been making about it. Again, quit acting like a LSU fan and go back the the Land of Thieves.

''Baker Mayfield, Stidham, same guy, right?''
Chip Kelly still going to Florida?

Dude. I asked a simple question. I don't care that y'all ran the ball more. I get that.
Okay...

What I am asking is do you have a theory as to why?
Because we ran the ball.

Oklahoma typically throws a lot more than that. Why not against Baylor? What was different? I am just curious...not trying to make a point or trap you into something.
We're a balanced offense. We typically run the ball more than we throw it. We had two RBs go for 100+ on the day and 3 TDs total. When your RBs are going off like that, it cuts into everyone else's touches. You don't stop doing something if they can't stop you. Pretty basic....

These guys don't watch Oklahoma football at all, and that's why it's kind of depressing to debate with them.
If Stidham can pass all over Georgia at will, I shudder to think what Mayfield might do to them.

I seem to remember Gus saying they were 100% during bowl prep and reading how much trouble we were in for on the Auburn board on as a result.
And you didn't even realize their starting QB had a useless arm and they were playing their second string QB?

White started the game and got hurt.
Whire was hurt going into the game. he couldn't throw all year, and his backup, JJ, was absolutely trash.
When Auburn is missing either a QB or a RB they struggle offensively. They need both badly. when they have both they are extremely tough. If they are missing one or the other they become beatable.
I don't expect you to believe us, but it's a fact.

So I should be unrealistic in my expectations because of who I’d rather win? Sounds like blind homerism and SEC coat tail riding to me.
Out of all 4 teams in the playoffs UGA is my front runner for whom I want to win. I feel that’s unrealistic so I’m a jealous a-hole.
Got it

He had 9 carries for 33 yards in the Sugar Bowl so obviously not.

All you have to do is follow the blahblahblahblah....Chip Kelly has signed a contract and it will be introduced as the Florida coach. Book it!
Go ahead and share your wisdom with us, Straws. Show us all you are far superior in your football knowledge.

White started for Auburn in the Sugar Bowl. He got hurt on a tackle by Jordan Evans. He was a dominating 4/10 on passes before he got hurt. You're clowning yourself man.

My bad. I was thinking about the Clemson game this year.

OU has ran the ball 501 times compared to 397 pass plays. That's about 56% of the time running it. Not sure what games you have watched.

I remember that, watched Auburn meltdown and clowned then in sports groups the entire game lmao

They haven't watched an ounce of film on us. That's the problem.
They think we're Texas Tech.

So. You have no idea. That's all I was curious about.
I mean, almost every game y'all throw the ball 30+ times and that game it was 19. I just thought it was odd.

Ou has the best O so it’s possible

Any team that destroys Ohio State in the shoe would scare me. That’s just me though

Watched a bit of Oklahma State and a little of Kansas State. But, my impression came from the passing yards of 4776 and rushing yards of 2807. Seems more lopsided, but that could be the success you have throwing the ball. Not a criticism, just an observation.
