It says this:
LSU beat writer Jim Kleinpeter passed along a rumor that senior T Alex Hurst has quit the football team.
"The rumor is he quit the team, but he's a guy who doesn't talk much to anybody, teammates included," Kleinpeter said. Hurst is also nursing injuries, but head coach Les Miles did hint at off fielf issues being a contributing factor for Hurst possibly missing Saturday's game against South Carolina. Senior Josh Dworaczyk would take over at left tackle, and still may even if Hurst returns.

no doubt. I've never been much a fan but there is no doubt he is a good run blocker and deserves to start. LSU is my 2nd favorite team.

Kleinpeter was on local Columbia radio yesterday. He said the issue with Hurst was unhappiness at being moved from right tackle to left tackle. Seems like a silly reason to pout or even quit the team, but that is what Kleinpeter said.
