Not to be too picky, but the correct name is Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College.

The name came about when the agricultural school was moved to Baton Rouge and merged with Louisiana State University.

Nearly half of the students require finical aid with an in-state tuition of less than 10k, which is very cheap for a tuition.

This is most likely due to the the lottery.
The lottery scholarship pays for like 7,000. The lottery gets a bunch of kids who couldn't normally afford UT with the higehest financial aid available able to afford UT.

And that is why Mississippi should pass the lotto.

The casinos would never let it fly though. I heard when Tennessee first passed the lotto it took some profits away from Tunica.

I visited my girlfriend who goes to UF.

That campus is so shitty. Nobody takes care of the place, it was an absolute shithole after the LSU game last year.

It's pretty ghetto too, on par with Tallahassee.

There was maybe one nice building, the rest had to have been built in the 60's.

Try 1920's, and UF is consistently rated one of the most aesthetic campuses in the country, along with BTW Sewanne and Alabama.

Go to Lake Charles, LA, Jackson MS, Columbia, SC, Alexandria, LA, Memphis, TN guess what they are WORSE than Philly, Cleveland, Akron, etc.

All major cities have their share of eye sores in this day and time. I work in downtown B'ham and it has a lot of old run-down buildings that should just be demolished. At least cities like Atlanta and Nashville have been doing something about it.

SC campus is very historic and nice, it actually reminds me of BR with the large oak trees.

It would be around 5-6 for top campus in the SEC in my eyes.

Ive been there more times than i can count, and its only like that 2 months of the year. The rest of the year its gloomy, depressing and not to forget bitter cold. The sun comes out like once a week from october till april.
