Clemson had 2 months off before they played Bama and I would love to see Clemson withstand UGA's November schedule along with a legitimate conference championship game.

You guys would actually have to open the playbook and have your 1st team on the field for more than a half.

You’re the one saying all these SEC teams have a case. Based on what? An inflated preseason ranking.

Recent history of having good teams? I mean fo the three I gave you which has sniffed a NC in the last 30 years?

1. Georgia played for one in 2017.
2. LSU won one in 2007 and played for another in 2011.
3. Auburn won one in 2010 and played for one in 2013.

You said you could make a case for any undefeated ACC team to make the playoffs. Make a case.

Well I guess you’ll never lose the conference debate if every time an SEC team loses you just claim it was a bad game.

I'm not using that. YOU are. Clemson is the team that lost to Pittsburgh and Syracuse. Were they better than Clemson?

What in recent history makes you think Auburn or LSU could?

Auburn played for one in 2013 and won one in 2010.
LSU played for one in 2011 and won one in 2007.

Both have shown they can play on the National stage and win. Which ACC teams have done that besides Clemson and FSU...and we know FSU isn't going to the playoffs.

Now...if you want an honest opinion.....I don't think Auburn will/can. LSU could, though. And Georgia could.

Did Tua play a second half in the regular season last year?

Are you not going to make the case for another ACC team making the playoffs? You made the thread...

Since they look to have really good teams....yes. Which of your world beaters are you going to make a case for?

ETA
If you don't like my choices narrow it down to Georgia and Auburn. Both have played for a title in the last 6 years. Which ACC team besides Clemson could make the playoffs, and why?

I can only guess you are doing research to present your case as to why Boston College could make the playoffs?

then got destroyed by Clemson.

A&M also lost to Bama by 3 TD's and bets em by 2 pts.

Comparative scores mean little.

We have:

Auburn, Florida, Notre Dame and aTm

Much tougher than what Clemson faces

Texas A&M is easily your strongest opponent, after that you have nothing

Had to go to the SEC to get the toughest game on their schedule....and that SEC team is possibly the #4th or 5th best team in the SEC. But if Clemson beats A&M, then that will prove that the ACC is top to bottom better than the SEC.

No, but Clemson’s ownership of the SEC and the recent head to head record between the two conferences suggests it’s pretty close.

All you have to fall back on are the current ranking through week 1 and your preseason SOS national title.

Congrats.

Florida is barely a top 25 team.

Clemson just destroyed Notre Dame.

Congrats on your SOS ranking though.

Maybe one day you’ll actually win something meaningful.

It’s called looking at common opponents.

Two more days and then you’re back on Alabama’s coattails for the rest of the season.

So, again.

List out the SEC v. ACC matchups.

Clem better enjoy these last few days of crowing. They aren’t going to have this opportunity again for a long long time. If ever
