Georgia has a very real chance of being a top 5 team at a minimum again in 19/20 but having no chance at winning a national championship at all because all of those freshman you saw for Alabama on offense? They'll be experienced upperclassmen with a ton of talent with Tua having a real chance at wining the Heisman.

I warned people that UG fans would act like they haven't been there before if they won the championship.

I was wrong. They didn't win and are still acting a fool.

Yes. I will let you do the hard work, but this link is a compiling of the actual NCAA record books.

(Hint Record Book...not online site) The link you provided was interesting though.

If only little ol Auburn could have such glories as your moral victory against the tide.

We didn't win. We lost and took them to OT. That's a fact, not a moral victory. If Auburn fans want to jump up and down and scream 1980, then I think it is perfectly reasonable to point out that is the only title in 55 years you have had.

I don't get why Auburn fans think they can say 1980 and then nobody is going to bring up that they have one title in 60 years.

I should say that cocotheape is usually a very good poster, so it is not necessarily aimed at him.

Do you read? I said Auburn only claims 1957 and 2010. The NCAA record book has us as champions the other years.

The reason it is funnier to troll uga about 1980 is because you don't have a claim on a title since 1980. Auburn may only have 2010 since 1957, but we also had claims on 4 other seasons. We choose not to claim them. That is the difference.

Look. That's great! I respect Auburn and the program you have. All I am saying is Auburn fans come on here and say 1980 and laugh, when you have one title in the last 60 years. That's all.

If you are upset that you have only one title in the last 60 years, then don't try to bait Georgia with 1980. It works both ways.

That is what I said...you must not be reading well today. But the wiki is a compilation of the actual NCAA record book. I am not going slog through all of that but what we do know is the the NCAA which doesn't recognize national champions in football does list Auburn as being selected in 1913, 1957, 1983, 1993, 2010.

Claims and actual titles are two different things. UCF claims a title, but it doesn't mean they have one. How you can claim Auburn has a title when the University itself does not is beyond me.

I mean, if some Auburn fans get jacked up over some obscure publication naming them as a champion, that's ok.

(Not talkign to you, as I have not seen you claim these things. Again, the only reason I am saying anything is because warcry want so belittle Georgia.)
Surely if you go into a thread and find somebody needlessly attacking Auburn you would defend Auburn, right?

Auburn and UGA have a similar amount of success historically, but of course Auburn fans are going to troll when we have the more recent title than you guys.

The one title in 60 years thing, be my guest, but Auburn fans could then point out UGA has one title (major selector) in 125 years.

Like I said though, UGA and Auburn are have similar amounts of success. Probably why each side of the rivalry is so eager to get one over on the other

I found the NCAA record book AU is bragging about. It lists UGA as a Poll Champion for: 1920, 1927, 1942, 1946, 1968, and 1980.

Damn, my "Tua in a Row" and "Going for #18 in 2018" t-shirt ideas are dead before they started.
