Plus, it's not like Richt is just some atrocious coach. I'm not a huge fan of the guy and think UGA could do better, but overall he's been pretty darn successful. His winning percentage shows that.

I love when NCrawler comes around, his hyping of Mizzou gets me even more jacked. He's been calling for 10-2 and for us to win the East since we joined the SEC. And also for the first ever battle of the Golden Shopping cart in ATL.
Either way I think that goal is a little lofty, but hey can't a Mizzou fan hope! I just want to get this season started and see where the chips fall.

No our best team ever was in 1960 which was ranked #1 in the nation until the last regular season game of the season, then went on to win the Orange Bowl. National championships were awarded *prior* to the bowl games back then, but given that the team that was ahead of us, Minnesota, lost its bowl game, and the one team that beat us in our last regular season game had to forfeit due to cheating, most every analyst that's looked at it has said in the modern era where the NC is awarded AFTER the bowls, Mizzou would have been the national champion in 1960.

It's my ammo to you dweebs' assertion, as I quoted in my damn post if you can read, that Richt has "done a whole hell of a lot more" than Pinkel or anyone at Mizzou ever has. That poll shows that statement to be your basic pile of horseshite. You are predictably spinning it as "oh we are ahead of you haha" but they are both Top Five rankings and nobody in his right mind in the general public would characterize #2 nationally as "a whole hell of a lot more" than #4 nationally. They'd say its two spots separating two outstanding teams from that year. It reflects more poorly on you guys that Richt is that close to Pinky in terms of highest level or achievement, since you dweebs are the ones running your mouths about total superiority, not us.
