We really do need to win this game. If we don't, this season is close to done.

I think Kirby and Dabo were happy to take this game for the same reason. It will measure the teams and it does build a sense of urgency with the players and coaches and fans. That is a damn good thing if you are trying to build a championship team from the get-go.

But it doesn't spell doom if you lose. It says every week we got to be perfect. And that too can be a lot of motivation. Bama knows that mind game well. (2011, 2015, we had to run the table)

Man frick that

Life is so much better around here when UGA loses an early game. It's not like it's the end of their season anyway.

Former UGA QB Aarron Murry said on the radio last week that it was a shite show at WR and TE. Was he wrong ?

Gamecock fans are use to living vicariously off the backs of successful SEC teams...

You nailed it. Can JT complete passes with 2nd and 3rd team receivers and will the O line give him time to try? We will see.

I understand why a Tennessee fan might not pull for Georgia, but we don't beat everybody like a rented mule.

Who’s ever OL plays better wins.

This will definitely be a big key. Our OLine has a lot of talent, but a couple of ours will be playing new positions and probably not their best position.

RB big question mark and no more ETN to make something out of nothing.
Clemson has some good RBs...really good ones. They just haven't had an opportunity playing behind Etienne, which is understandable.

OL gotta open holes and keep DJ up right. That happens I feel really confident. It doesn’t we’ll get jumped on like OSU did last year

I suspect we will test your OLine early and often bringing Adam Anderson and Nolan Smith early. If we can hit the mark we will keep the pressure on. If not it could be a long game for us. I tend to have a pessimistic attitude in big games, so this one makes me very nervous. It should be a nail biter.

Blaylock- 3rd-string WR

Under normal circumstances Blaylock would be a starter. The only reason he is showing 3rd string right now is he was out all last year with an injury.

Going from Pittman to Luke as OL coach was a big loss

Right now I would have to agree...but in fairness to Luke, he is dealing with different kinds of recruits than ones that fit his style. I think he likes them a bit lighter and "more athletic" and mobile. We have been recruiting road pavers for awhile now.
