Great for them. All that shows is they're better at developing RBs than we are. Not that we're shitty at it, just there are others better.

What does this even mean? I don't think I'm going to debate with you if you're going to drop lines like this. In all seriousness, that makes you look like a high schooler.

The last highly ranked RB we got that didn't frick his leg up ran for 1300+ yards every year he was here, fwiw.

If Washaun wasn't in Richt's doghouse for months, never got in trouble with the law, and could keep his damn head on straight, would he be released?

If this was simply a matter of making room why didn't we release him the day after signing day? The fact is if Washaun had the same attitude as Carlton Thomas he'd still be on the team.

There are tons of reasons to get rid of that clown.

Fact is now King is the most experienced back...not good.

Or the day before signing day. Ritch still is a man of tact and character.

He should have kept him on the team and then slowly let him run himself towards the bench...prob wouldnt have taken that long.

Any thoughts on where he might go?

Georgia Southern seems to be the frontrunner right now. It's less than an hour from his hometown and he wouldn't have to sit out a year.

Maybe for him but word out of Statesboro is that they don't really want him and all his baggage.

He would be great for GSU.Would UGA play them again during the time he would potentially be there?

With the main one being he had major attitude problems and couldn't stay out of trouble. It has NOTHING to do with Crowell.

If 2 months from now he got arrested again, all people would say is "why wasn't this knucklehead kicked off earlier? Richt has lost control of the team!!" and other nonsense.

By all accounts this was the right move. Certain things were expected of Washaun that he didn't live up to, so him going somewhere else is the best scenario for both parties. Win-win.

King has had his issues but it's not like he's AWFUL. He's shown flashes of being pretty good, he's just maddeningly inconsistent. Another good thing about this is that those carries WE would've gotten will now go to Malcome and IC. I think those 2 will be the best backs on the team anyway, so I'm all for them getting more carries.

Yes, we play them in 2012 which would be his final season.

Yeah after about 2 games or so I don't see King starting anymore. He might not start the first one, but he does have the experience factor going for him, being the only one who has actually played in a game yet. But I think eventually the other 2 will fly by him on the depth chart. By the florida game I would expect him to only be getting like 5 or 6 carries a game.

Why, Most Southern fans have seen his lack of ability to HOLD on to a football in clutch moments. Plus we don't need a back with eye problems thanks to some dipshit Gaytor.

I watched Caleb King play against Greene County (Josh Nesbit) their senior year. I thought King would be an All-American.

The guy was a human highlight reel. Poor Nesbit was the kicker, punter, QB, DB for his team. They got killed.

I think he'll have a little easier time against the SOCON than he did against the SEC. Washaun would flourish at southern.

Doubt it, and I say that not meaning the SOCON is anything like the SEC. I mean that the lack of ability to hold on to the ball doesn't distinguish between D-1A or 1-AA.

After his junior year at Parkview I don't know how anyone could think he was going to be anything other than a slam dunk. It's a shame he was never quite the same after that.
