Shouldn't matter to you. You are a Kansas fan anyway.

honestly our student attendance is so horrible and now that i have so many hours i hope they make it impossible. our student section is pathetic and our greeks are the worse part about it other than the other fricking weird asses i watch games with.
i want UGA to be like other great student sections that have students coming in hours before kickoff, not 30 min after.

Yes it's bullshite. They did it because not all of the students go to the games because we have a large contigent of dumb hipsters who don't care and a bunch of dumbasses who'd rather keep drinking at bars or at a tailgate than go into the game.
They feel if freshman get all the tickets and get priority then they'll be better fans but what they don't understand is that when they're sophomores they won't have priority anymore and a bunch won't get all the tickets they want and will get pissed.
I only have one semester left so it doesn't really affect me but it seems retarded, especially since the board was almost unanimous on it.

im just confused if im gonna get fricked or not. im about to be a junior and if i dont get the whole season, shite is gonna get real. the ap hours thing helps me a lot for away games and shite, though, so i guess that's cool.

I think you'll be alright. If not just hang outside the honors dorms and rage on the first douche that walks out.

those pricks at georgia, which btw may be one of the worst run schools going, didn't let me us my AP hours or 50 hours from PSU for tickets so i better not get fricked either.
i think we should shrink our student section down a couple of thousand, impose stiff penalties starting with the first game you miss (you can sell your ticket if you don't wanna go), and i think we should separate the student section from normal seating. we should require people fill up each row like other schools do and not allow a free for all. that way if you want to sit with your friends or get good seats you'll get of your arse and go.

The student seating at Bama is problem too. The block seating for organizations (mainly greek) is often largely vacant up to and after kickoff. Also, students were given an additional section in the upper deck but none of them want to sit up there so they find their way down to the main student section and it looks like there's a big empty section in the upper deck most games.

that's very similar to shite we have. another issue we have is UGA is a large school made up of many schools with no loyalty to Georgia but instead came because it's a cheap and decent education. and we have hipsters.
i hate about 80% of our students

The ticketing system UGA has doesn't help. Though it prevents hipsters with a lot of hours from requesting tickets just to sell, there's no motivation if you have a ticket and you're not going to the game. You can basically donate it, or do nothing. Either way, you don't get anything.
I tried releasing tickets the night before the game a couple times when I was in school and the system wouldn't allow it within 24 hours of gametime.

Sounds like a GDI problem.

Our ticketing system is pretty gay. While I kinda like the convenience of using my student ID, not being able to sell them does suck.

exactly. say im some non football fan that is gonna go to the games because i have nothing better to do but i dont really want to go that badly. something comes up that i consider better. i have absolutely no reason to try and get rid of my ticket because i get nothing from it. waste of my time.

Just go back to fricking paper tickets. There weren't empty seats and people were paying $300 for the Bama game.
I'm still kind of confused. I'm gonna be a senior and I hope this isn't saying freshmen get first dibs.
Anyway, AP hours would help for the USC and AU games and potentially the SECCG, so I guess that works out for me.
