He's been saying that for weeks.
He's wrong. Georgia has a first year defensive coordinator problem against Paul Johnson and after that it's no longer an issue. In following years after the first year, Georgia is still unbeaten vs Paul Johnson.
That will not change.

True
Sometimes great teams lose. But, this was a case of a perceived great team being exposed.
Auburn showed that if you can run the ball against Georgia, the defensive backfield is a real liability. Auburn was never really slowed down in that game.
Putting Georgia in a track meet in which they have to pass the ball is a losing game for Georgia.

I think Georgia overcompensated for Stidham in the pass and what that showed is the defensive front can't stop the run if they don't have help with a stacked box. I bet if Georgia did it again they'd do what they have been doing on defense and do better against the run, but the defensive backfield would give up at least 4 or 5 huge, gamebreaking plays.
Sucks, but when your best defensive backfield players are all around 6' and the others are untested, what can you do.
That's also why Georgia will likely be fine against Kentucky and Georgia Tech if yesterday doesn't run over. Stephen Johnson is a good deep ball passer, but Kentucky's deep ball guys all left after last year, and Georgia Tech is not a passing team. Georgia will load up vs the run again and may give up a big play or two in the pass, but not so many that it crushes the team.

Of course UGA is still really good. Are they elite? No, but I don't see one invincible team in CF this year. Let's be honest, misery loves company which is why fans like LSU are piling on. Fact is, UGA still controls their own destiny. This season is eerily similar to 2012. I haven't lost hope. A good arse kicking will humble someone.

But LSU is fantastic. Troy is tied for 1st in the Sunbelt so that means LSU could have at least finished 4th in that conference
Ahh, the tired Troy comment. We didn't get our shite pushed in by auburn.
You haven't won shite since before I had pubes.
And I'm middle aged.

Do you think LSU is in better shape than UGA moving forward?

I don't know. Coaches need 3 complete seasons to be evaluated.

Sounds like your still upset that Miami and Clemson whipped GT a new one! Just like UGA will in 2 weeks. Deal with it.

Pretty sure a 1 point last minute comeback by Miami doesnt qualify as whipped. Clemson is the only team that has whipped GT and even then it was only 14 points. GT has not been blown out by anyone. Unlike UGA...

I’m convinced after watching the Auburn game
I'm convinced after watching the MSU game Georgia would beat LSU by 10+ points.

LSU can't even take advantage of weak competition this year. You win one game of consequence that is made inconsequential by two losses to shite teams.

Thanks, Thai.
I am shocked at all the LSU fans laughing at georgia when they got beat by Troy and steamrolled by Mississippi State. But, of course those games didn't mean they were a bad team, just that they had a bad game.

That happens when you play a real schedule. We’ve definitely taken some punches to the gut this season, but not once have we been run off the field the way UGA was yesterday - and that’s facing equal or better competition than Auburn.
Some major disappointment is coming your way.

Tennessee beat you. Go home. Sit in a corner. Think about that. Tennessee. Butch Jones.

Georgia only has one loss. Unlike Georgia Tech. How many is it now? 4?

Virginia and Tennessee now qualify as tough teams? taht's two of your 4 losses. Lets not pretend great teams have been beating you.

Virginia could probably win the SEC East this year. No excuse for Tennessee. We gave them that damn game.

Based on.........
- Their 31 pt loss to BC?
- Their 17 pt loss to Pitt?
- Their 17 pt loss to Louisville?
- Their 17 pt loss to Indiana?

Tennessee is the worst team in the SEC. You lost to them. You aren't allowed any sort of chest beating at all.

No chest beating going on here. Just stating facts. Tech will win in two weeks. Mark’er down.

Is there a team in the country where this is not true?
You needed yesterday to tell you this? And here I thought that the "if you could run the ball against somebody it opens up the play action" was all a farce and untrue.

But is absolutely untrue for lSU, right?

Well, I know you come around here for a couple of weeks if we beat you. But, could you manage to stay away fro a SEC message board if beat you for good? I mean, you have stingtalk. Will they not let you on there anymore? You tech fans usually only show up after a Georgia loss, then we can't seem to keep you out, until after our game with you.
