you guys are so bitter about 2007
I'm not, I was talking about the actual topic at hand when someone else took us on a tangent

Sorry for that unlucky 21 point beating
I'm not gonna debate with you anymore because you clearly have the reading abilities/debate skills of a middle schooler. Nobody said we were unlucky to lose the games we did. Yet you keep trying to pretend that I did, when in fact I've said about 3 or 4 times now that that's not the case.

Do you have any reading comprehension whatsoever?
Nah, brah. I read just fine. You have the same MO when it comes to Georgia football. You blame. You don't give USC credit for three in a row. You say you gave them the game. You don't see any fault with the end of the game in the SECCG this year. You remarked that UGA would have won last year's SECCG if they would have caught more breaks, while ignoring they caught every imaginable break and got an onside kick. It is what you do.
I appreciate your passion for your team, but the excuses do get a bit trying. Not everything that happens to UGA is because the galaxy is against them. That is my point. Perhaps you will acknowledge it beyond saying "I'm just saying yah yah yah we won games in some years but we didn't get a title because god hates bulldog football."
There is no "debating" with you about UGA topics because you have lost every modicum of objectivity. It is your blind spot. Everyone sees it about you but you.

So you're saying luck plays no roll in making the championship game?

I'm not blaming anything or anyone. If we only had 1 loss instead of 2 we'd have played for it all..but we didn't so oh well

? I'm not blaming anybody for our losses. That's our fault and if we hadn't lost we'd have been in better shape, nobody is arguing that

Those are my words just from the last page alone. Apparently YOUR blind spot is only hearing or seeing what you want to try to reinforce a point that doesn't exist. And with that I will exit this thread for while.

I'm saying that WG Dawg would rather it be that forces conspire against UGA because he wouldn't have to accept the fact that the team he cheers for fails to get it done in certain games over the years. Using hind sight, he'd prefer to ignore what happened on the field and instead focus on final polls without context and blame some notion of "luck," while ignoring a three touchdown loss to a team that, at the time of play, was 3-2.
I am pointing out his massive blind spot, not making any proclamations on what it takes to get to a title game. Just ask 2004 Auburn. They have standing to complain about luck.

You keep saying you will "go away," but you know what I'm saying is true and you feel compelled to respond to it. You have an excuse for everything, big and little, about Georgia football over the years. You can be objective about any SEC issue but those that are related in any way to Georgia. I find it hilarious.

This statement sums up UGA football all together.

quote:LSU didn't do that. They had to hope that 2 or 3 teams lost ahead of them to get their shot. That is a fact. Luck was in UF's and LSU's corners. Something UGA did not have in 2002. The best way is to go undefeated, but that is the hardest thing to do in the best conference in college football.
Should have made your own breaks, cochise.

Again, you are ignoring the facts of what happened in 2007. UGA would have been in the running. Unfortunately, they took a 21 point loss to the team that won the East (and lost to old nemesis USC in a defensive struggle reminiscent of 3-2). UGA would have been the beneficiary of that same "luck" if they beat UT that year. UGA didn't get that "luck" in 2002, I get that.
To be fair, UGA lost to a team that got beat by 25 points to the eventual national champion.*
*therick711 does not recognize OSU as the national champion of 2002-03 season because of the malpractice of the officials. Long live the memory of Larry Coker's repeat performance.

You got drilled by that UT team. No lucky break there. Just got shite kicked. You like to blame everything, but perhaps if the red and black showed up for the first and second quarters they wouldn't have gotten beaten by three touchdowns by a 10-4 team.
BTW. Richt is going to extend his record against LSU to 4-3 this year.

All that crap does not matter. I am talking about LSU's and UF's lucky breaks to get to the MNC. Y'all got help from other teams losing.
Oh. And CMR always craps his pants. Fire Mark Richt!!!
