Pretty sure that doesn't apply. Hey, you can claim it as a championship if you want. Still doesn't change that it is indeed, by definition a co-championship, and Auburn had a chance to win it outright and slowly choked it away. You know...what the OP is accusing Georgia of?

It seems like taking the exact wording from the media guide didn't work with him, so I used another method of proving my point.
Well that and attacking his football pride of having to admit that Auburn Basketball and UGA Football had the same amount of SEC Titles in that time period if he wanted to claim tournament titles.
But hey, I only got you involved because you answered a question asked to him.

Actually you made a statement. You said Auburn Basketball had as many titles as Georgia football in the last 35 years. (I still find it odd how Auburn posters want to set a defined arbitrary time frame on posts. It's pretty obvious you either talk about all time history or you talk about current year. Anything other than those two time frame references are totally arbitrary) I responded that you were wrong, and all of a sudden you waned to tell me about the tournament championship argument. hey. I'm not aware of it ever happening, but I am sure as long as the Olympics have been around it has. But, they are known as co-champions. And when the winner fo the gold medal in that event is named both winners are named, are they not?
Auburn fans just want to pretend Tennessee didn't win anything. They are every bit as much of the SEC Champions as Auburn is, are they not?
