Unfortunately, when the team that seems destined to make the game, Alabama, can't even win their own division, it sort of makes LSU's need to win the entire conference a non-issue.
Note, I completely disagree with this. I think you should have to win your conference, no matter how much tougher than others, to make the title game. At a minimum. Don't like it, go to the fricking Big East.
