It’s not far fetched at all if uga plays 15 games again, which also isn’t far fetched at all.

We can revisit it later if you like. Bobo is a more aggressive play caller than Monken in terms of challenging defenses down the field, and Beck has the arm and accuracy to make such an attack work.
UGA's all-time passing records aren't all that exceptional. Stetson Bennett set UGA's all-time passing mark last year at 4,127 yards. Effectively by saying Beck is going to set UGA's all-time mark, I'm saying he'll be better than Stetson Bennett.
Aaron Murray under Bobo as OC held the record before at 3,893 yards.

Maybe you don't follow Tennessee football very closely, but UT is breaking in a new QB, too. Is that a big deal, or is it only a big deal when it is Georgia and/or Alabama?

Remember when Tennessee was #1 with an elite offense only to get smacked around by Georgia didn’t even get into the end zone until the game was over?
Yes, I remember. I also remember when Tennessee fans were saying they would put 50 on the Georgia defense. I thought they meant points, but apparently they meant yards.

I don’t want to support OP but Milton has a handful of starts and multiple years in system. Neither Bama nor UGA have that.
So you support the OP?
The OP who said this:
No more Stetson and Monken to save you.
Stetson was a one in a million not only as a walk on but as a player in general.
I don't see that magical it factor that great QBs like Stetson have.

Borrow all you can get and bet your mouth. I would bet that there will not be 4 losses between those two..

Tennessee had a huge lockeroom situation event right before the SC game and the defense completely laid down that game. Offense was out of sync as well..
Your team has a ton of problems if they laid down while they were a shoo-in to go to the playoffs with a win. You have players and entire units laying down and as a result missing the playoffs? That is a culture problem not just a one off incident.
quote:Mizzou came before the South Carolina, but congrats on that huge effort against Vanderbilt.
You can call it an excuse, but compare the way our defense played against Mizzou, Vandy & Clemson vs SC which were all at the end of the season.

After one good game, it doesn’t matter. That’s all it takes per smokeyone

And how would you know that?
You act like our defensive roster wasn't completely gutted when Heupel took the reigns.
Our run defense was ranked #21 in the nation last year. If anything they over achieved. In fact, our line play on both sides is really good under Heupel.
All we need is two good DBs to have a top 25 overall defense despite losing most our starters when Pruitt left.
Some of you just make completely blind statements without doing any research at all.
Our defensive scheme is actually really good. We are just a few jimmies and joes away from putting it together on that side of the ball.

So I'm wrong to assume that losing one of the top offensive coordinator and QB combos in the country is going to be difficult to overcome?
UGA fans are extremely arrogant now it seems.

I'll bet you anything that Beck doesn't win anything of significance at UGA and you will see a big offensive production drop off this year. Especially in league play.
Don't worry i won't go anywhere and will be here to eat my humble pie if I'm wrong.

It’s not really arrogance when it’s the consensus opinion from everyone but the jealous and/or delusional haters

No. It's called being a YOUNG team in only year TWO of Heupel's system.
We over achieved by every metric possible last year.
It wasn't flawless but it was easily the best coaching performance in the nation.

You do realize that in 2021, JT Daniels was our starting QB and had the benefit of getting all of the snaps with the first team O during spring and fall. Then he got injured at the first of the year and Bennett took over WITHOUT having spent time with the first teamers and STILL led us to a Natty. Beck has been working with the first teamers spring and fall and he is arguably surrounded by a better first team OLine and WRs than Bennett had. All of that said, why then would anyone expect a drop off?

I'll bet up to 5k usd with anyone here that UGA's offense sees a big dropoff.
How big of a dropoff you ask?
They were ranked #5 in total yards last year. I think they will drop the bottom level 20 ish or mid 30 range.
I'm not saying they will be bad on offense, I'm saying there will be a big dropoff compared to last year.

How will you feel when you lose 4 games like lsu?
Posted on 8/22/23 at 12:54 pm to djsdawg
11 wins when you jokers were projecting 7 to 8 in year two with a roster that's average in talent by top tier SEC standards.
Sure we had some studs in key places but depth wise, we were nowhere near Bama, UGA or even LSU for that matter.
Now you are just trolling me DJS.
